Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players are being treated to a hefty update this week. Title update 1.5.0 was first announced in a short content roadmap for the game. Ubisoft is now sharing what exactly players can expect including new accessibility options and improvements to the stealth mechanics. Title update 1.5.0 will go live early Tuesday morning on all supported platforms.

In a new blog post, Ubisoft has outlined what players will see with this large update. One of the biggest additions to the Viking RPG is a plethora of accessibility options like a brand new difficulty mode. The Saga difficulty mode will allow players to enjoy all the game has to offer without worrying about “the challenges of stealth and combat”. This means that enemies will inflict less damage in general and their level will not scale with player progression. Saga will be found under the Combat Difficulty section of the settings right next to Easy.

The update will be adding new combat settings to the game as well. These include altering the amount of damage that Eivor takes and gives, the healing ratios in the game, how quickly adrenaline regenerates, and various enemy health modifications.

Another big focal point is the stealth system. The update will be improving the AI reaction to whistling, fixing the issue with players getting detected when using environmental traps, and wild animals being able to detect the player no matter how far away they are. A multitude of other bug fixes and improvements are also included.

This update is to prepare the game for its biggest expansion yet, Dawn of Ragnarök. The DLC is set to arrive on March 10 and will bring with it over 40 hours of additional content. Prospective players can enjoy a free weekend for Valhalla starting this Thursday.
