Wedding Horns is the next main quest in Assassin's Creed Valhalla after A Fury from the Sea. It's more lighthearted than most of the other quests in the East Anglia arc so far, in that it primarily just tasks you with enjoying the festivities at Oswald and Valdis' wedding.

That being said, there are still several things you'll need to do in order to finish this quest, some of which aren't immediately obvious. There's also a tough fight at the end depending on your previous decisions, which is why we've taken the liberty of putting together this Wedding Horns guide as part of our complete Assassin's Creed Valhalla walkthrough to make sure you complete the quest and finish the East Anglia arc without a hitch.

Here's everything you need to know about Wedding Horns in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Wedding Horns Guide

This guide picks off directly from where our A Fury from the Sea guide left off. After the cutscene at the end of that quest plays, you'll need to fast travel back to Elmenham in order to attend Oswald and Valdis' wedding. Once you arrive there, head towards the quest marker and speak to Oswald. Watch the wedding cutscenes that follow, and when you resume control, simply wander around to enjoy the festivities for a bit.

You'll soon notice that various NPCs are marked by quest markers. The first of these is Brothir, who will challenge you to an archery competition. All you need to do is smash some pots while drunk — if you're not confident in your archery, make a manual save so you can reload it and try again if you fail. Smashing all of the pots earns 50 silver.

Next you'll have a drinking competition with Broder. If you haven't done a drinking competition in Valhalla yet, it basically tasks you with timing a prompt to gulp down beer while trying to stay balanced using the analog or movement keys. If you have had a couple of these competitions already, it's worth noting that Broder is better than most other challengers, so again, make a manual save. You can win 130 silver from defeating Broder in this competition.

If you head over to the roast pig on the spit after this, Broder will come over and flirt with you. You can choose to sleep with him or tell him to get lost. Finally, you'll need to climb up to Finnr, who has somehow managed to end up on the roof. Head up and talk to him — when he passes out, pick him up and carry him down. You obviously can't climb down with him on your back, so you'll need to jump down onto the platforms beside the one you're on, which gradually decrease in height, allowing you to safely bring Finnr back down to ground level.

Once you get down to the bottom, head over to Oswald and choose to proceed with the wedding. Oswald will give a speech, which will be interrupted by Rued if you spared him. Here you need to choose whether to let Oswald fight Rued or to fight him yourself.

If you let Oswald fight Rued, he will beat him and Finnr will stay in East Anglia to serve his new king. However, if you fight Rued yourself, Finnr will long to go back to his days of sailing, at which point you can ask him to join your crew. He's a pretty powerful Jomsviking, so I fully recommend taking on Rued yourself, especially given the fact that he is significantly easier to beat this time compared to when you fought him with his wolf at Castle Burgh.

Once Rued is dead, Oswald will confirm your alliance. Find Finnr at the quest marker and speak to him — if you beat Rued yourself, he will join your crew and the quest will end.
