About Joshua Robertson
Joshua Robertson is a News Editor for TheGamer. When not writing about breaking news, community stories, or covering industry events, you can find him begging FromSoftware for a Bloodborne remaster.
Industry Focus
Being a news editor, I'm mostly on the hunt for breaking news or fun stories, ranging from serious pieces of journalism to community stories interesting enough to elicit intrigue or a chuckle or two. Every now and again I'll write about my opinions or review a game, but you'll more than likely see my name attached to some top tier gaming news.
Favorite Games
Horror and JRPGs are my comfort zones, as Alan Wake, Yakuza (I refuse to call it Like A Dragon), Pokémon, Persona, and Resident Evil are my favorite series, with Bloodborne taking my number one spot. If it's gorey, spooky, or has a cast of lovable characters out to save the world with the power of friendship, I probably like it.
Proudest Gaming Achievement
I set myself with the task of completing every single numbered Final Fantasy game a while back - yes, even the MMOs. I'm more surprised than anyone that I'm actually sticking with it, and actually managed to get through 10 of them throughout 2023. Hopefully, my quest will be completed in another year, though there's every chance Final Fantasy 13 will break me.
