One Marvel's Avengers player has caclulated that it would cost $3317.50 to buy all of the cosmetic items in the game.

As a live-service game, Marvel's Avengers is pretty packed with cosmetics for the player to buy. Although some of them can be earned through gameplay, there are a good number of them that can only be bought with real-world money. One Avengers player decided to calculate exactly how much it would cost to buy them all, and it's a pretty staggering amount of money.

As reported by MP1st, Redditor saali22 was bored and decided to go through the whole marketplace and add up everything that was available for sale. They then posted their calculations on the Avengers subreddit, revealing that it would cost a grand total of 331,750 credits to buy everything, which translates to $3,317.50.

They said, "Was bored so I added up everything that's for sale (disregarding bundles) as of right now. Completionists would have to pay 331,750 credits (i.e. 3,317.50 USD/EUR) to unlock everything."

There are a few things to consider with these calculations. For starters, as admitted by saali22, this calculation doesn't take into account any bundles that might bring together some items and make them a little bit cheaper. It's also not made totally clear whether this also counts emotes and banner images, or whether it's just counting skins.

It's also important to remember that as a live-service game, Marvel's Avengers is constantly changing prices for items and bringing them in and out of sales. On the other hand, it's also introducing new items at every interval, so this number is constantly going to be changing. You can only imagine how much more it's going to be when Spider-Man and his many outfits get added to the game.

No matter how you look at it, it's a pretty staggering amount of cosmetics on offer in a game that's not free-to-play. The original poster, saali22, put it perfectly: "I'm just glad there's no "unlock everything" trophy…"
