Back 4 Blood players aren't happy with its solo progression systems, although Turtle Rock Studios has promised that it is working on it and looking into ways to change it.

Some players have been able to get early access to Back 4 Blood, but what they've seen so far has left a few of them feeling sour. As it turns out, Back 4 Blood disables a lot of its functionalities for solo players, with one Reddit post on the Back 4 Blood subreddit gaining a lot of traction after pointing out the issue.

According to this post, players who play the solo campaign won't be able to earn supply points, a pretty big part of the game, or track any stats. They also won't be able to earn any progression towards accomplishments when playing solo. Players will also be forced to use solo decks when in this mode.

Back 4 Blood players aren't happy with this change, claiming that the developers never advertised that solo players would be forced to play under such specific conditions and that it shouldn't be in the final release of the game.

After the Back 4 Blood subreddit started filling up with similar complaints of the single-player mode feeling pointless and unbalanced, Turtle Rock Studios quickly took to Twitter to promise that it was looking into changes.

It said, "Attention Cleaners! We have heard your frustrations about progression in solo mode and are discussing ways to address the issue. Thank you for your patience and feedback at this time - we'll have more news as we strategize on potential ways to make it happen."

Turtle Rock Studios hasn't opened up about any of the plans it has for making this happen, but it looks like it's at least looking into the issue. Players aren't too confident in the changes being fixed too effectively, with some players replying to the Tweet and questioning why it was designed like this to begin with.
