With COVID-19 canceling all the summer's conventions, companies have had to get creative to show off upcoming games. With the presentation called Play Anime Live, the focus will be on anime games. No games have been announced for the presentation, but there is a good chance that new details about Tales of Arise will appear. The game was delayed beyond 2020, so perhaps this conference will give a new launch window for the game. Other games expected at the conference include a new Sword Art: Online game, a new Digimon game, and a new Mobile Suit Gundam game. There probably won't be any news on Elden Ring, but Bandai Namco could slip it in there.

Bandai Namco joins Microsoft, Ubisoft, and Google in having a presentation in July. With E3 canceled, developers have to find new ways to announce their plans for 2020 and beyond. Summer Games Fest has been a good substitute for E3 and created flexibility for developers to spread themselves throughout the season so each conference can stand out. While it's not the intense week of game news bombardment, fans can still get hyped about what games are coming on the horizon.

For fans of anime games, this conference will be one to watch. Not only will there be new game announcements, but giveaways of free video games is always a good reason to tune in to a presentation. Play Anime Live will take place on July 22nd at 4:00 PM PDT on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook.
