Bangalore's Brother Could Join Apex Legends, If They Ever Decide To Add New Content

Apex Legends hasn't left us very hopeful over the addition of new characters or weapons, given that they only plan to introduce seasonal updates. But, some light has been shed on a potential upcoming character.

Last week, Respawn released a bit of additional backstory information on one of the favorite characters, Bangalore. It's now being taken to suggest that her brother could appear as a new Legend at some point.

It has been revealed that Bangalore's actual name is Anita Williams. She served alongside her brother, Lieutenant Jackson Williams, in the IMC, but he stayed behind to help her escape during a certain mission and has since been presumed dead.

"Three years ago, Anita and her brother Jackson were ordered to retrieve a mercenary fleet from the Outlands to aid in the IMC’s fight against the Militia," her updated character description reads. "However, their unit lost contact with IMC HQ and were ambushed on arrival. The squad scattered, but Jackson stayed behind to give his sister time to escape. Alone and with no way home, Anita put her training, extensive weapon knowledge, and competitive spirit to work by joining the Apex Games. Now, she fights to raise money for passage back to the IMC home base, where she hopes to reunite with what remains of her family."

Released Apex Legends images have shown Lt. Jackson falling from the sky after the ISM Hestia ship was busted open, but fans on Reddit have voiced some theories which claim that he could still be alive and is now poised to become a Legend in the game. Bangalore also appears to believe as much.

Other fans have dismissed the notion, and with good reason. Why would Respawn add a character's brother deemed to have been dead just so she could end up killing him again every day, or vice versa?

We might know a bit more about this soon enough, though, as EA has already confirmed plans to delve into some fun stuff at E3 next month. Perhaps they'll bring this up.
