A new leak reveals a possible new Community Day event in Pokémon GO with Beldum as the ‘Mon to catch.
We’re pretty sure this leak is legit. First of all, it was published on Twitter, where all true statements are born. Second of all, there’s a clear lineage from the leaker to the leaked info. Or maybe it's not all that clear. You be the judge.
The Silph Road reported that an image of Beldum in a Community Day frame has been found by @immewnity of PidgiWiki, real name Matthew Verive. He somehow got access to Niantic’s Google Cloud directory and spotted the Community Day image.
How he got access to Niantic’s Google Cloud directory is unknown, but we’re pretty sure he’s a l337 h4x0r. Or something.
Anyway, how we got this info is less important than the fact that we think it’s legit, which means there’s going to be a Community Day featuring Beldum in the very near future. Maybe even the first week of October.

For those not in the know, Community Days are weekend events where a certain type of Pokémon is way more likely to spawn in the world of Pokémon GO. This means it’s easier to catch a lot of that specific Pokémon, to harvest its sweet sweet candy, and thus leveling it up to the point of evolution.
But wait, there’s more! Community Days also come with the added bonus of giving those ‘Mons brand new moves that normally can’t be seen in the wild. We don’t know what new move Beldum could get, but it could be another great coverage move like Earthquake.
Community Days also bring a few general bonuses just for playing, such as some free items or XP multipliers. Even if you’re not into the Pokémon du jour, it’s still worth your time getting out there to catch ‘em all.
Metagross is definitely worth picking up though. It's one of the strongest Pokémons in the RPG series and one of the strongest in Pokémon GO. Steel/Psychic is a great typing that’s hard to deal with, plus he’s just an incredible offensive and defensive threat. You can take or hold gyms with Metagross and he's almost always a good choice.
Plus, it’s a giant floating psychic robot. How cool is that?!
