It's been clear for a while now that Laura Bailey is among the best English-speaking voice actresses around. Initially, she made her name by playing multiple characters in the Dragon Ball franchise — most notably Kid Trunks.

Since then, she's made a similar splash in the video game world with over 200+ credits to her name, and many of the characters she voices have very differing personalities. Sometimes she plays one of the most badass heroines ever, while on other occasions, she's a compelling villain. Whoever she's voicing, her performance always seems to be convincing. But out of all the gaming characters she's lent her voice to, which are the best ones?

10 Catherine - Catherine

The titular character in Atlus' unique puzzle game is a seductive succubus who intends to kill unfaithful men. During the game, she sets her eyes on the main protagonist, Vincent Brooks. To entice the guy, she takes the form of a fun and eccentric girl.

Because of the salacious nature of Catherine, she's very different from the characters Laura Bailey usually voices. Yet, she excels in the role and gives a very captivating performance.

9 Fiona - Tales From The Borderlands

Fiona is one of two protagonists in Tales From The Borderlands. Much to her dismay, she's forced to team up with lovable goofball Rhys as they attempt to get their hands on a Vault key.

The role really allows Laura Bailey to flex her comedic muscles as her character is hilarious. Plus, she has a fascinating arc throughout the game as she transforms from a small-time swindler to a true heroine.

8 Nadine Ross - Uncharted Series

Uncharted is no stranger to strong female characters. Although, no woman in the series is quite like Nadine Ross. Not only does she have mental toughness, but she's a physical threat. The great Nathan Drake can't even hang with her in a fight. Although, her insane power is not the only reason she's such a good character.

The mercenary is also an interesting villain as she's not really that evil. In Uncharted 4, the woman is hired by the main antagonist Rafe Adler, yet she cares more about her men than appeasing her boss.

7 Kait Diaz - Gears Series

Along with introducing several new enemy types, Gears 5 alters the series formula by making Kait the main protagonist. She deserves the elevated role, though, as out of the new generation of COG soldiers, she's easily the most interesting.

During the fifth game, she goes on a journey of self-discovery and finds out some strange things about her family. It's a compelling arc that's made better by Bailey's stellar performance.

6 Rise Kujikawa - Persona Series

Although, once you get to know her more and discover her reasons for leaving her celebrity life behind, it becomes clear there's depth to the character and her story. What's more, her candid yet cheerful nature makes her an entertaining person to have around.

5 Abby - The Last Of Us Part 2

Abby is by far the most controversial character Laura Bailey has ever voiced. This intense woman has divided Last of Us fans, with many discussing whether she is a sympathetic figure or not.

However, regardless of where she lands on the morality scale, it's hard not to be captivated with her journey. She begins the game with a thirst for revenge, then once she gets it, she has to live with the aftermath. Her revenge arc is like no other in gaming.

4 Kaine - NieR

First Encounter With Kaine

Despite not always being the most pleasant individual, Kaine from NieR is a very sympathetic figure. From an early age, she was an outcast, and things got worse when she was possessed by the shade known as Tyrann.

After receiving help from Nier, she joins the main protagonist on his adventure. As the game goes on, it quickly becomes evident that she's hilarious. Her overly aggressive attitude, mixed with her liberal use of curse words, is the source of many humorous lines.

3 Catwoman And Selina Kyle - Batman Telltale Series

In certain adaptations, Catwoman can come off as a one-note shameless flirt. However, Laura Bailey's version of the character from the Telltale games has some depth. She constantly struggles with her morality as she rides the line between good and evil.

Plus, Selina Kyle's life is just as troublesome as her alter-egos as she's falling for Bruce Wayne while dating Harvey Dent. Thankfully, even with all of the problems she's having, she still finds time to involve herself in some exciting action sequences.

2 Lucina - Fire Emblem Series, Super Smash Bros. Series, Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.

At this point, Lucina might be most known for her inclusion in the Smash Bros. games. However, she is actually a fantastic character from the Fire Emblem series. Her first and most prominent appearance comes in Fire Emblem Awakening.

In the game, she goes back in time to fix the past, so her dark future doesn't come to fruition. She's such a strong heroine who does anything she can to defy fate and stop her father from dying. And with all of the pain she suffered in her time, you can excuse her lack of humor.

1 Chun-Li - Street Fighter Series, Marvel Vs. Capcom Series

Few characters in video game history are as iconic as Chun-li. Ever since the early 90s, she's starred in a litany of Street Fighter games as well as making many guest appearances in other titles. During her time, she's amassed many fans with her acrobatic fighting style.

Laura Bailey can't take credit for the character's fame as the fighter was already well-established before she got the role. Yet, Bailey has added some extra personality to the combatant while maintaining her badass aura.
