The addition of stage builders in video games allows players to customize their play experience. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate just added a Stage Builder mode, and the internet is going crazy with designs. The Stage Builder mode lets players build with the touchscreen on the Nintendo Switch. The freehand draw tool in combination with the Switch's touchscreen opens up a seemingly endless list of possibilities.

You don't have to be a genius stage designer to enjoy the new mode. One can download shared stages from a selection while online. If you're not excited about Stage Builder now, after seeing the creations below you will be. These are the 10 best creations using Smash Stage Builder.

10 Super Mario Bros. World

There are many stages in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that attempt to mimic the Super Mario Bros. world. The 8-bit era contained an explosion of video games that look not nearly as impressive as they did when they released.

The graphics of Super Mario Bros. games have changed, but the fundamentals have not. Still, fighting foes and jumping over objects is central to Mario games. This level brings back a taste of the 8-bit era that is nostalgia at its best. If you are a fan of Super Mario Bros., download this map now!

9 Troll Face Lol

No, you didn't get rickrolled. The photo in the above picture represents an actual stage created in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. For those who are new to the joke, a troll face represents a lurker in internet discussions.

Trolls are unproductive pranksters of the internet. A troll face could be used in combination with being rickrolled. Rickrolling is the act of replacing website content with the song "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. It's a practical joke that is exceedingly common on the internet. It's better than getting a virus, but man is that song catchy!

8 Smash 64 Desk

Fans of the original Super Smash Bros. and current players of the franchise will appreciate this creative stage. It is modeled after the desk in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 64. In the opening cutscene of Super Smash Bros., characters are depicted as figurines lying on a desk.

This creator's version is an improvement on the original. Since the graphics have improved vastly since the Nintendo 64, this stage looks much better graphically. This Smash 64 Desk stage deserves a spot on this list for being a warmhearted scene from Super Smash Bros.

7 Kirby's Dream World

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans and Kirby fans alike will appreciate this stage creation. The design of the stage is a splitting image of Kirby from the Kirby franchise. We've seen Kirby in games such as Kirby Star Allies, Kirby Battle Royale, Kirby: Planet Robobot, Kirby: Triple Deluxe, Kirby's Epic Yarn, and more.

Aside from a few steep edges, the stage plays well. It may even be advantageous to select Kirby on this map since Kirby can fly and easily land on platforms. Right down to Kirby's rosy cheeks, this designer does an extraordinary job with this stage.

6 Smash-Ception

"Smash-Ception" was created by Nintendo user "Finn" to replicate the Nintendo Switch. As far as Nintendo Switch replicas go (and there are many), it surpasses expectations with a striking design. Because of the buttons' design, the object appears three-dimensional.

Playing Nintendo Switch on a Nintendo Switch level is too good to be true. Now if someone could only make a design resembling the Nintendo 64, the first console to be a platform for Super Smash Bros.

5 Kame House

Dragon Ball meets Super Smash Bros. in this stage creation. "Kame House" is the house that Master Roshi resides in. Dragon Ball characters are not included in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but the internet would lose their mind if they were.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate includes characters from companies like Sega, Capcom, Konami, The Pokémon Company, Namco, and more. It's possible that one day, Nintendo will bring the Dragon Ball franchise to Super Smash Brothers. Characters like Goku, Frieza, and Vegeta would work well in the game.

4 8-Bit Mario

Of course, someone tried to create an 8-bit Mario using Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Stage Builder. As far as 8-bit designs go, this is one of the best. As the mascot of Nintendo, it's only natural that we included a stage modeled after Mario on this list.

In addition to this 8-bit design of Mario, there are other 8-bit creations modeled after Nintendo characters. This design, however, stands out from the pack and is one of the most creative stage designs we've seen yet.

3 PAC-MAN Doodle

One of the most played games of all time receives a stage in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. PAC-MAN is simplistic, but the formula seems to work every time you play the game. The objective of PAC-MAN is too eat all the power cookies, which appear as tiny dots on the screen.

You won't be able to play PAC-MAN in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but you can do the next closest thing. That is, playing as the PAC-MAN character on a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate PAC-MAN stage. From a design standpoint, the scene looks beautiful. From a gameplay perspective, however, it doesn't play as well since KOs are difficult.

2 Minecraft!

Nintendo user "Pyro" did a splendid job at creating a stage modeled after Minecraft. Minecraft worlds are common for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Stage Builder, but Pyro may have done the best job replicating Minecraft's world.

Much detail was added into this world. Minecraft's trees, lava, stone blocks, grass blocks, and a small house are all represented in this world. The bed is a cool added touch. Only Nintendo could have made a better Minecraft world, yet it seems like they would have a difficult time doing so.

1 Smashket-Ball

Without a doubt, Nintendo creator "Luke" did a phenomenal job at making what many consider the most fun stage on this list. "Smashket-Ball" reinvents the wheel as it brings a new kind of enjoyment to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

In this stage, players are faced with obstacles that prevent them from crossing the bottom of the map. Playing Smashket-Ball is a perilous adventure. Falling into most of the cannons on this level will almost guarantee that you lose a life. With tons of eliminations, Smashket-Ball is a thrill-ride.
