Minecraft Dungeons has only recently released, and it is already known for its vast selection of enchantments. Armor enchantments are especially useful because they will allow for the player to quickly negate more damage and pull enemies straight towards them, just to name of few of their powerful effects.

With such a large selection of armor enchantments for players to choose from, it can be difficult for them to decide which ones to take and which ones shouldn't even be considered. Players will find that there are many different armor enchantments that will help every different type of playstyle and build a character that is unique to each player.

10 Swiftfooted - Rolling Increases Movement Speed For 3 Seconds

The dodge roll mechanic is one of the most useful abilities that players can use while fighting hordes of mobs in Minecraft Dungeons. Players will be using this ability a lot, which is why this enchantment is so useful.

Swiftfooted will allow players to gain extra movement speed after dodge rolling, which will be helpful when dealing with more than one monster at once. Players that want to easily get away from a dangerous fight should use this enchantment.

9 Snowball - Stuns An Enemy Once Per Few Seconds

The Snowball enchantment will throw a blast at an enemy once every few seconds. This ability will be very useful for dealing with mobs with large amounts of health because they will be regularly stunned by the Snowball enchantment, allowing the player to deal damage to the enemy.

The Snowball Enchantment is also extremely fun, and players love the unique animation. It is worth taking this enchantment if a player often has trouble dealing with stronger enemies throughout the game.

8 Thorns - Deals Damage To Any Enemy When They Attack The Player

The Thorns enchantment jumped right out of the normal Minecraft right into this new dungeon crawler. This effect will deal damage to any enemy that damages the player.

Dealing damage back will allow tanky characters to easily kill mobs that are surrounding them. Every player should be taking this enchantment if they have the chance because it is useful for every playstyle.

7 Gravity Pulse - Every Few Seconds Enemies In The Vicinity Are Pulled Towards The Player

There are often many enemies in the vicinity for players to fight. However, sometimes these enemies are not close enough for the player to hit them with melee attacks, which is why players will need the Gravity Pulse enchantment if they are trying to be as efficient as possible.

Players will want to use the Gravity Pulse enchantment to pull their enemies towards them, which will then allow them to hit multiple at once. This will help players that do not want to run straight into battle head-on.

6 Food Reserves - Using The Potion Will Create Food Items

Food Reserves is extremely powerful because it can spawn up to three separate food items for players to devour after drinking a potion. This may not seem like one of the most powerful enchantments in the game. However, it is, because during boss fights, sometimes players will need that extra food to survive.

Players can easily eat food after drinking the potion or save it until later on in a fight. The enchantment will allow for 1-3 food items to spawn, depending on what level the player has taken on this enchantment.

5 Explorer - Regenerate Health Every 100 New Blocks Traveled

Sometimes restoring health isn't possible within the next few seconds, and this enchantment will help players restore health simply by adventuring throughout the dungeon. Every player has to roam around the level to be able to progress through it, and that is why the Explorer enchantment is great.

Players would have already been running around the dungeon anyway and this way they're rewarded for the basic action which only makes adventuring seem more attractive. Every player should take the Explorer enchantment if they get the chance because it is very useful, especially when a player is low on health.

4 Frenzied - Attack Speed Is Faster When At Half Health

The Frenzied enchantment will be useful when players are on the cusp of dying because it will add extra damage to the player's attacks when they reach half health or below.

Players that are often up against many enemies at once will require this enchantment if they want to deal massive amounts of damage to groups of mobs. The Frenzied enchantment is rare; however, if players come across an item that can be enchanted with it, it's one worth considering.

3 Chilling - Creates A Blast That Reduces Movement And Attack Speed Of Enemies

The Chilling enchantment does exactly as players would probably expect by its name, it freezes enemies. The enemies are only slowed for a few seconds, but that is more than enough time for players to run away and use a potion or food item.

Sometimes a player is caught in a bad situation, and this is an important enchantment to use for players that often find themselves in dangerous spots.  The animation and effect of Chilling are also very unique, and players will find that they quickly enjoy using it.

2 Final Shout - Every Artifact Is Used When The Players Health Reaches 25%

The unique thing about the Final Shout enchantment is that every artifact will be used even if their cooldown time isn't reached yet. Players that need to use an artifact swiftly will be able to take great advantage of this enchantment by dropping their health below 25%.

Although this tactic can be quite risky and potentially result in the player's death, it is also a very powerful possibility that will allow players to easily defeat enemies and use their artifacts twice in a row.

1 Protection - Allows The Player To Take Less Damage

The first rank will add 6%, the second 11%, and the third 15%. Tanky characters will need enchantments such as this one, and there are few better in the game for damage negation as the Protection enchantment.

Every player can benefit from taking less damage from enemies, and that is why it is worth taking a piece of gear with an effect such as this one into battle. Players should consider the Protection enchantment, especially if they are trying to build a tank character because it is one of the best ways to negate a lot of damage.
