The 2019 Overwatch League Grand Finals promised an incredible match of the two most dominant teams throughout the season. It was a culmination of everything that happened throughout the year and a celebration of Overwatch and the league as whole. The San Francisco Shock ended up beating the Titans 4-0, ending the night earlier than many hoped. Still, there were some wonderful moments that captured everything that is great about the Overwatch League. From the quirky, random tid-bits to the heart-stopping plays, here are our favorite moments of the 2019 Overwatch League Grand Finals.

Zedd's Opening Performance

Zedd kicked off the 2019 Grand Finals in style with an incredible set from. The world-renowned DJ played some of his best songs and set the tone for a wonderful event. The crowd started to get into it and the visuals backed with his great set-list provided a great opening to the finals. He joined the crew at the desk during half-time to speak about the match and Overwatch in general.

Bastion's Chandelier Ride

Architect was subbed in for the San Francisco Shock going into map two of the finals - Eichenwalde. Architect came out on the Bastion during Shock's attack. He dominated on the hero through the attack round, but the shining moment was when he used Bastion's ultimate to boost himself up onto the chandelier inside the castle. It was a big-brain play that helped position Architect where he was out of danger and able to rain down damage as the Shock pushed to the end of the point. It was just another incredible example of San Francisco's versatile and quick decision making during a match.

Bumper-Inspired Posters

Vancouver Titans' Bumper has been a larger-than-life personality throughout the 2019 season. The ultra-aggressive Reinhardt for Vancouver was known for charging in wildly, asserting his dominance throughout a match and was also one of the greatest trash-talkers in the league. He became a fan favorite (or most-hated depending on who he dominated that week). The girl on the left certainly loves Bumper and the man on the right highlighted Bumper's (and Super's) unfortunate benching during the playoffs. It was the biggest impact Bumper would have on the Grand Finals and it was glorious.

Overwatch League tends to have great fans that make unique and funny posters. These were some of the funniest for the Grand Finals.

The Crowd Loves Jeff

Jeff Kaplan has been adored by fans since Overwatch was released in 2016. Jeff is the lead designer of the game, and is always enthusiastic for the game and the events when he appears throughout the first two seasons of Overwatch League. Fans cheer him on and gave him an great applause when he walked out to present the Grand Finals trophy to the Shock. It was pure moment that showed how great the community can be and highlighted the guy who lead the creation of the game they all love.

Witness that great moment here.

Choihyobin's Deserved MVP

Hyo-bin "Choihyobin" Choi has been one of the most consistent (and frankly underrated) players on the San Francisco Shock all season. He finally got his due respect when he took home of the 2019 Overwatch League Grand Finals MVP. Choihyobin dominated on Sigma and negated some Mei Blizzards in clutch fashion. Throughout the entire season Choihyobin has been flying under the radar - especially with his MVP finalist snub. He allowed Sinatraa and Super to be aggressive all season with his off-tank protection. In a game where damage dealers get the most attention for their flashy plays and big kills, it was nice to see the tanks get some love, and if anyone deserves the praise, it's Choihyobin.

It was incredible year for the Overwatch League, and the Grand Finals ended the year right with a heart-felt celebration of everything that makes the league so great. Next year, the league goes on the road around the world.

The future of the Overwatch League couldn't be brighter.
