The PS4 series boasts plenty of unique limited edition variations. Many consoles have plenty of people sniping the internet during release date or shelling out more money than necessary from the scalpers on eBay. So let's take a look at the top PS4 limited edition console designs!

10 Metal Gear Solid V

Players certainly felt like a Big Boss with this console by their side, a limited edition console to the Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain. Sony gave players a very sleek design of a red and black color palette PS4 with metallic gold highlighting the middle edges of the console.

The design and color scheme stems from the Big Boss's mechanical arm within the game. It's a pretty straight forward in design despite its unique color scheme, with the Diamond Dogs emblem and uniformed wording.

9 Uncharted 4

Many fans wanted to venture into uncharted territories to grab this limited edition bundle. On the face of the console is a silhouette of one adventurous hotshot, Nathan Drake. The standout look for this cool bundle is the slate blue color palette.

Also, highlighted is the gold Uncharted logo to match the gold PlayStation logo. Of course, this was part of the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End bundle, an awesome game that anyone can enjoy with this beauty to boot up with.

8 Final Fantasy XV

The long-awaited Final Fantasy XV was a breath of fresh air and magical excellence on the next-gen consoles, as players follow Noctis and his gang traveling the world, encountering vast enemies and completing quests along the way. In celebration of FFXV, Sony released this black PS4 Slim.

Added to this slim console is the "XV" emblem on the front right side of the console and the controller. The biggest standout of this console is the moon etched beautifully on the front with the golden "XV" marking and members of Noctis gang dabbed on the center of the console.

7 Darth Vader

The force is strong indeed with this entry. Highlighted on the very face of the console is the sith lord himself, Darth Vader. The design of Vader is similar to that of a sketch blend of the black glossy background as a base for the design.

Speaking of glossy...look closely when the light reflects off this console, as a mini Star Wars logo is decked out on console, surrounding Vader. This bundle was released with EA's Star Wars Battlefront.

6 The Last of Us: Part II

Okay, this is kind of cheating, because of the time of this article The Last of Us: Part II bundle has not arrived on shelves, but the details are amongst the online fireflies at this point. With the anticipation of the next installment of The Last of Us, Sony took a leap of faith with releasing this bundle, despite the hindsight of the PS5 around the corner.

2 Death Stranding

It's hard to tell whether or not this is an art painting or a console. Utilizing a basic white color palette while complemented with the black dripping hand prints, the design for this PS4 is breathtaking, looking more like a street art canvas than an actual console.

The black and white contrast of the Pro layers adds depth to the console, while the Death Stranding name is on the black layer. And let's not forget the yellow transparent controller to this already cool bundle.

1 God of War
