25 Push Me Pull You
Push Me Pull You has certainly got the uniqueness aspect of gameplay down. Its graphics are also silly, perfect for when you just want to have fun without getting too serious. Two people can play as one entity on a controller to overcome various wacky challenges. As you can imagine, it can get chaotic, and that's part of the charm. It's always a fun choice for a party too.
Sharing a controller is the ultimate test in teamwork. Or you could completely ignore the objective and just spend time seeing what weird shapes you can get your worm people to turn into.

Unravel Two has double the fun of the first game with two Yarnys always being on the field! This game is all about defeating Anti-Love with the power of love. You do that by maneuvering a battleship in space and fighting off your enemies while rescuing adorable space bunnies. The battleship has different mechanics, and each of you has to know when to use them to succeed.
The levels are randomized, so you'll never really be able to predict what happens no matter how many times you play. See how well you and your partner can really get along when faced with the forces of Anti-Love and a whole ship to control.
22 Little Big Planet 3
Little Big Planet 3 is one of the best PS4 games for couples, as it's amazingly beginner-friendly. The moderately challenging platforming and co-op nature of the game make it a blast for anyone to get into, and few can resist the adorable nature of Sackboy and LBP3's textile world.

Fighting games are great, but losing to your partner stinks. This is where a game like Streets of Rage 4 really shines. Instead of beating on each other, you can team up and try to survive hordes of thugs and bullies.
It's one of the best beat-em-ups of all time, which is a genre that has always felt more fun with a second player. There is plenty of content here to keep you playing for hours on end, but the pick-up-and-play nature of the game also makes it great if you and your partner are more casual gamers who want to focus on other things.
19 Stardew Valley
It took a while, but Stardew Valley finally introduced a multiplayer mode. Amazingly, it does nothing to detract from the deep, immersive one-player experience. The ability to focus on your own life remains intact, but cooperation is encouraged since you share money and resources. You can also marry each other instead of NPCs, as well as dancing with each other during the Flower Dance Festival.

The Game Bakers were known mostly for their amazing boss rush game, Furi. So, you might have been surprised to see that the next game under the belt... was a relaxing turn-based RPG that focused on the relationship shared between two amazing characters on a lost planet.
Most people lament the lackluster co-op implementation in Haven, which is certainly something to be criticized. However, the relaxing vibe of this fun PS4 game for couples, along with some truly humanizing moments between the two characters, is up to any couple's alley who just wants to try out a laid-back title.
17 Fall Guys
The battle royale game that took over the world by storm, Fall Guys is an easy recommendation for any fan of cute multiplayer titles that emulate the competitions of Takeshi's Royale. Playing this excellent PlayStation game is bound to be a blast, and you can do it for free!
While the hype surrounding Fall Guys might've died down somewhat, you will still have no issues when it comes to matchmaking. With a whole host of fun minigames, Fall Guys is easily one of the most fun PS4 games for couples. You can team up to take down other players, but only one of you may take the crown.

Among Us has been released for most consoles, and it's still a fun choice if you like a little mystery solving in your relationships. It's super simple to learn, and the rules are easy to understand, though it's a lot harder to figure out who the imposter is.

Borderlands 3 didn't release without its share of issues, but Gearbox has ironed out the worst kinks, and the title still provides the same looter shooter mayhem for which the series is famous. Supermassive Games' Dark Pictures Anthology has the same concept of being trapped with horrors, just with different characters, settings, and stories. Taking a few cues from the way people experienced Until Dawn together, they added several ways to go through the story with friends on one console or over the internet.
Playing the story with someone else is a great way to spend an evening, but you have to be careful about what decisions you make. The characters' fates are in your hands, and not communicating might get some of them killed. Unless that's your goal, in which case, it's also fun to team up and see how fast you can murder everyone.
11 A Way Out
A Way Out is an intense cooperative gameplay experience that requires two players. If you and your partner are fans of narrative-driven games such as Beyond: Two Souls and Until Dawn, this game will be right up your alley.
Taking on either the role of Leo or Vincent, together you must make an attempt to escape prison and avoid the law. It's a dynamic split-screen experience, and you must work together to progress the story, ultimately forging an unexpected relationship that will keep you on the edge of your couch.
10 It Takes Two
Josef Fares, the director of A Way Out, decided to take a completely different approach when it came to his next game. It Takes Two is nothing like A Way Out, with the only similarity stemming from their exclusive co-op experiences.
It Takes Two ends up feeling like a fresh and cohesive experience that is easily one of the best two-player PS4 games for couples. You literally play as a couple, albeit one that bickers a lot. That's what got them into the mess of being turned into dolls. The game introduces new mechanics and replaces them right before they can get stale, making for a rather enjoyable experience.
9 WipEout Omega Collection
This one is a pretty nostalgic throwback to one of the best racing games on the early iterations of the PlayStation consoles. If you’ve been an avid gamer all your life, you’ll likely remember WipEout, the gravity-defying racing game set in the future. You’ll travel at breakneck speeds as you pass other players one by one to sweet, sweet victory.
The WipEout Omega Collection contains remastered versions of WipEout HD, WipEout HD Fury, and WipEout 2048. Take on your other half for high-speed, couch co-op races through 26 reversible circuits, using up to 46 unique ships.
8 Injustice 2
Love comic books or superhero movies? This is one fighting game you should try. Injustice 2 is the officially licensed PvP game for the DC universe. With a massive roster of DC characters including icons like Wonder Woman to Deadshot, Batman to Superman and of course, The Joker, you’ll have a variety of choices to obliterate your other half.
You can interact with and use the arenas you battle in to your advantage, so there's more to it than just punching and kicking each other. Discover the most fun ways to defeat your partner. This is a great game to have you both screaming at each other, in a good way.
7 Mortal Kombat 11
If you’re a fan of fighting games and have worn out your copy of Injustice 2, fear not, as Mortal Kombat 11 is here to save the day. Fair warning, this game is extremely graphic, so if you or your significant other are squeamish, you may want to give this one a miss. Think Sniper Elite graphics with pretty grotesque brutality moves.
This bone-crushing, gore-laden PvP game is a great way to let off some steam, and maybe even settle a squabble between you and your partner.
6 Hidden Agenda
Double date anyone? Maybe even triple? This couch co-op exclusive game can be played with one to six players and features a heavy, thrilling story where you must capture the infamous Trapper killer.
Hidden Agenda gives each one of you an objective to work towards, and you can choose your approach. You and your partner can work together to solve this crime thriller and capture the Trapper killer, or secretly work against each other, attempting to influence the other's decisions to fulfill your own hidden agenda.
