As soon as you walk into Afterlife, it's almost a guarantee that it'll stay in the back of your mind for life. It's one of the most impressive bars in video game history and is featured in Mass Effect 2.

The atmosphere and the color surrounding this bar really make it feel like you're in the middle of Vegas. The colors, sounds, and lights can be a little blinding, but in the grand scheme of the game, this isn't much of a change. There may be some unsavory folk, however, so steer clear of them. It can be found on the Omega space station.

6 Dishonored: The Hound Pits

This rather rustic and a little broken-down pub from Dishonored is perfect for any player looking to hide out from the law. It has its illegal aspects, but still brings a homely and Victorian feel - can't argue with that.

It has a lovely vibe to it with some comfy booths and plenty of pints to drink if you get thirsty. Nevertheless, this pub is a classic British pub that's perfect for a rest from the brutal life in this wonderful video game. If you want to feel like you're back in the 19th Century, then stay awhile in The Hound Pits.

5 GTA 4: Hercules

Unlike Afterlife, Hercules is a little more subtle. It's pretty tucked away, despite being found at the center of the Ballad of Gay Tony on the northern edge of Liberty City.

It's a wonderful gay bar that has a pretty cool dancing area and a well-furnished bar area to keep you entertained as you escape the somewhat hectic world of Grand Theft Auto. It also has some pretty interesting and fun characters that you can just sit back and watch. Just don't spend the whole game inside, as tempting as it may be.

If you're looking for a good inn, then you'll be spoilt for choice in The Witcher 3. However, the best inn is without a doubt The Cockatrice Inn. It looks beautiful where it stands, on a wonderful bridge sat between willow trees and a vineyard - it perches over a river, so it stands out in the landscape.

When you enter you'll be stunned by the beautiful medieval style and the wonderful patrons that fill this gorgeous Inn. If you're playing The Witcher 3, definitely check out The Cockatrice Inn.

The wonderful Le Bastille Saloon looks like an expensive and good quality establishment that stands out pretty well in the western world of Red Dead Redemption 2 - and even stands out amidst the rich city of Saint Denis. Luckily the drinks don't cost a ton - by modern-day standards anyway. It's a beautiful saloon that will make you feel like the cowboy you always wanted to be.

It's well with visiting - after all, you may just meet some interesting characters that could change the way you view the game. Or, you could just end up in a bar fight.

The best bar in the game is known as The Pelican Inn. It has a rather western theme crossed with old-fashioned that just feels so cozy and lovely, despite the problematic outdoors. While it may have been somewhat accidentally destroyed by Nathan Drake, it'd still be worth visiting.
