It seems that Bethesda doesn't know how to stop screwing up every matter related to Fallout 76, as a serious breach of information has happened over the past few days, with customers being given the personal information of other customers.

We recently reported the disastrous situation regarding the $200 Fallout 76 Power Armor special edition, which was advertised as having a canvas bag, but fans were given a much cheaper/less durable nylon bag instead.

The backlash from the fans prompted Bethesda to respond with a promise of replacing all bags, which requires going to the support section of Bethesda's website and filling out a form.

It didn't take long for fans to start reporting on Reddit and social media that they were receiving the private information of other people who had filled out the form to receive a new canvas bag.

Bethesda quickly shut down the support site and was able to resolve the issue, but the private information of an unknown amount of their customers was leaked out into the wild.

Bethesda released a statement on Twitter as an apology for the incident.

The full extent of the information leak is currently unknown at this time, but Bethesda has promised to notify anyone who may have had their information revealed. If you applied for a canvas bag, then now might be a good time to request some new bank cards, just in case Bethesda is downplaying the amount of private information that has been leaked.

The Fallout 76 information leak is just the latest in a series of mishaps that have befallen the game. Fallout 76 has received scathing reviews since it was first released and the price has continually fallen as part of different sales, which was followed by controversy over Bethesda refusing to issue refunds and the legal fallout that may happen as a result of that.

It's hard to applaud Bethesda too hard for replacing the Power Edition bag, seeing as it was the product that they had advertised in the first place, but at least they are trying to make amends.

The continuous problems with Fallout 76 and all of the issues after release will have an effect on the fans perception of Bethesda in years to come and their only hope to win people back is if The Elder Scrolls VI is incredible.
