Riot Games Will Pay $100 Million To Employees In Gender Discrimination Lawsuit

Riot has been at the center of controversy on matters of gender discrimination for the better part of a decade, but the company has now finally been given a fine. Something to the order of $100 million in fact. The lawyer working for the plaintiffs Genie Harrison previously described how “this is a great day for the women of Riot Games and for women at all video game and tech companies who deserve a workplace that is free of harassment and discrimination. We appreciate Riot's introspection and work since 2018 toward becoming a more diverse and inclusive company.” Sounds like things might be moving in the right direction.

People Are Modding Their Own Cats Into Stray

Stray has been taking the world by storm ever since the game was released last week. The latest development is that players have been modding their own pets into the game and attracting a lot of attention in the process. I don’t know about you, but I can totally see the appeal, except for the fact that I have an orange tabby cat which looks remarkably similar to the main character. Should make for an easy mod at least.

Monster Hunter: Paradise Spotted On Discord

There might just be another Monster Hunter game in the works called Paradise. The news comes from a leak on Discord noted by a Twitter user called NeoNaga99. “New Monster Hunter game leaked by Discord datamines (confirmed by an official Discord partner and easily reproducible). Monster Hunter: Paradise,” NeoNaga99 tweeted. “I’m confused on if it’s Monster Hunter 6 or a spin-off. It’s planned for Xbox and PlayStation.” I'd be down for another entry in the franchise one way or another, but I’m right in the middle of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak at the moment, so I'm hardly in the market for more content.

Star Trek: The Next Generation Cast Reuniting For Picard Season 3

The whole gang from Star Trek: The Next Generation is apparently going to be getting back together in the next season of Picard according to the announcement made at the most recent San Diego Comic-Con. The studio in question, Paramount, even released some pictures. Executive Producer on Picard Terry Matalas previously explained that "I remember watching the premiere of Star Trek: The Next Generation almost 34 years ago with my father like it was yesterday. It was the spark that ignited my love for science fiction. So, it’s most fitting that the story of Jean-Luc Picard ends honoring the beginning, with his dearest and most loyal friends from the USS Enterprise.” The executive added that “it would be an understatement to say that giving these characters a proper send off is an honor. The entire Star Trek: Picard team and I can’t wait for fans to experience this final, high stakes, starship-bound adventure in season three!”

New Fallout Show Set Images Reveal Vaults And Power Armor

Fans of the franchise have been eagerly awaiting news about the upcoming Fallout show. Pictures from the set started leaking last week, but we just got our best ever look at the props, most notably a vault and a suit of power armor. "Fallout is one of the greatest game series of all time. Each chapter of this insanely imaginative story has cost us countless hours we could have spent with family and friends,” Directors at Kilter Films Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy previously stated about their production. “So, we're incredibly excited to partner with Todd Howard and the rest of the brilliant lunatics at Bethesda to bring this massive, subversive, and darkly funny universe to life with Amazon Studios.” Speculators have been suggesting that it might take place in the Capital Wasteland.
