Sony Studios Come Out In Support Of Abortion Rights, Despite Jim Ryan's Previous Neutrality

Ever since Jim Ryan told employees to "respect differences of opinions" on abortion rights, Sony has been criticized for its neutral position on Roe v Wade. It was criticized even more so after Insomniac president Ted Price revealed Sony "will not approve" public statements on such matters, although it seems to have changed its tune since. After today's news, several high-profile developers under Sony made public statements in support of abortion rights, including Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, Sucker Punch, Sony Bend, and many more.

Following Roe V. Wade Ruling, Disney, Netflix, And Amazon Will Cover Travel Costs For Workers Seeking Abortion

Outside of the gaming industry, other big companies like Amazon, Netflix, and Disney have announced that they will cover travel costs for employees who might be seeking an abortion but can't get one in their home state. While the majority of companies didn't publicly reveal how far this reimbursement will go, Netflix revealed that it will reimburse employees up to $10,000 if they need to leave their states.

FromSoft Has "Several New Projects" In Development, According To Job Listing

Back to gaming now though, and FromSoftware has fans dreaming as it has announced it has "several new projects" in the works in a recent job advertisement. None of these projects were named, although the games featured in the accompanying image include the long-dormant Armored Core franchise. Other games included in the banner are Sekiro, Elden Ring, Bloodborne, and the FromSoftware's VR title Deracine.

Insider Teases God Of War Ragnarok News Is Coming Next Week

Now that we're halfway through the year and we still don't have a release date for God of War: Ragnarok, fans are starting to antsy. However, an industry insider known as The Snitch has hinted that we may finally get an update on the game as early as next week, tweeting a meme of Kratos from God of War as binary code for the number 30 flashes up on the screen.
