Hideo Kojima Rumored To Be Working On New Horror Game Overdose, Starring Death Stranding Actress

While it may not be Silent Hills, fans of Kojima's work will have to settle for a completely different horror game as the Metal Gear creator is reportedly working on one starring Death Stranding actress Margaret Qually. Industry insider Tom Henderson has claimed that he's seen footage of a game called "Overdose," describing the trailer in very specific detail and revealing that Kojima Productions is the developer. Henderson also claimed that this might be the Xbox exclusive Kojima is rumored to be working on, although specifies it's just a guess.

Berserk Will Continue Through Creator Kentaro Miura's Best Friend

After Berserk creator Kentaro Miura's tragic passing last year, many assumed that was also the end for the series as a whole. However, the creator's best friend - Kouji Mori - has announced that he will carry on where Miura left off, releasing an additional six chapters that will remain as faithful to the original creator's vision as possible, before beginning a "new arc." These chapters will be pieced together by sketches made by Miura, as well as things Miura told Mori about the story before his passing.

Capcom Showcase Announced For June 13

Most people have agreed that Sony's recent State of Play event was an all-timer, largely thanks to a very strong showing by Capcom. Now it seems the publisher is ready to show off its games on its own terms as it announced the first "Capcom Showcase," taking place on June 13 at 6PM ET. While this is exciting news, the publisher has downplayed the event somewhat, telling fans that the show will focus on already announced titles. This means don't expect any new announcements, but we could see more of Street Fighter 6 or Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Joker 2 In The Works, Official Title Revealed

It's been confirmed that a sequel to Joker is officially in the works, with director Todd Phillips and actor Joaquin Phoenix both set to return. We also got an official title for the film via a post on Phillips' official Instagram account. In the post, Phillips reveals that the script is now complete and the film is titled Joker: Folie á Deux. No news on when we can expect the film to drop in cinemas, but a report from earlier this year claimed that filming will begin in 2023.

Bit of a fun story to end things now, as Xbox fans have been overanalysing Phil Spencer's gaming sessions via his achievements. While there's nothing too much out of the ordinary there, Banjo-Kazooie fans have noticed that Spencer has played the original game for a total of 37 minutes and has earned the "Get Jiggy" achievement. Fans now think this is Spencer communicating with them that a Banjo-Kazooie-related announcement will show up at Xbox's showcase later this week. A fan can dream.
