The third week of October is upon us and the COVID situation looks as if it's going to cancel a conventional Halloween. Minecraft Steve Arrives In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Starts Waving His Meat
Minecraft Steve finally became playable in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It quickly became apparent that he hadn't received the same level of bug-testing as the other fighters in the game, as there is a nasty glitch that can cause enemies to fall through the stage. Steve also drew attention for the suggestive manner in which he holds his meat on the victory screen. Steve's competitive viability has yet to be determined, but it's clear that he has a lot of potential, even if he's incredibly difficult to master.
The First Monster Hunter Movie Trailer Is Revealed
The world was finally given a glimpse of the Monster Hunter movie in action. Director Paul W.S. Anderson revealed a brief clip showing Rathalos during the New York Comic-Con digital event. This was followed a few days later by the first full trailer for the Monster Hunter, showing Milla Jovovich fighting with flaming dual blades. The Monster Hunter movie is due to be released on December 30, 2020.
Pokeprincxss Is Sent A Cease & Desist By Nintendo
The Adult entertainer and influencer formerly known as Pokeprincxss had to change her name to Digitalprincxss, following a cease and desist letter sent by Nintendo. She was using Pokémon imagery in her merchandise and had been instructed to stop selling them. There are countless people on the Internet who sell Nintendo-themed merchandise without permission, but Digitalprincxss believes she was singled out, due to her adult work on Onlyfans.
Marvel's Avengers Next-Gen Ports/Kate Bishop DLC Delayed
The player base for Marvel's Avengers is rapidly declining, thanks to a lack of post-game content. The game was dealt a major blow this week when it was revealed that the Kate Bishop DLC content was delayed. Kate Bishop was meant to be the first post-launch character added to the game and was meant to have her own exclusive missions that tied into future storylines.
It was also revealed that the next-gen versions of Marvel's Avengers had been pushed to 2021. The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game could have attracted new players, especially due to the complaints regarding the slow speed of the current-gen console ports. It remains to be seen if the game can hold onto its audience long enough for people to care when the next-gen ports arrive.
Pokémon Sun & Moon Leaks Confirm X & Y Sequels Were Planned
A new set of Pokémon leaks have made their way online. These leaks include a number of Pokémon Sun & Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon builds from throughout their development. Fans are currently going through these builds in search of secrets, but nothing of interest relating to the Alola region has been found just yet.
The biggest revelation of the leaks is that sequels/updated versions of Pokémon X & Y were planned. Entries for these games appear in an internal directory and they even have an origin code in the existing Pokémon games. These games would have been released after the Hoeen remakes, and it's likely that the Zygarde content in Pokémon Sun & Moon was planned for these games.
