The last week in America has been an incredibly tough time for many. Following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers, many citizens have been protesting on the behalf of Black Lives Matter. With riots breaking out across the nation and many being injured as the result of police brutality, it is more important now than ever before to show our support during this trying time.

Over the weekend, various game developers and publishers began voicing support for Black Lives Matter on social media. Sony, Microsoft, Riot Games, Naughty Dog, and EA (to name a few) have tweeted out messages of solidarity and support for the protestors across the nation. Whether you view it as a hollow marketing move or not, the sentiment is one we should all agree with.

If you would like to show your support to Black Lives Matter, you can head over to the organization's official website to donate to its campaign. You can also join your local chapter and protest alongside others. Nothing is too small, so help in whatever way you can. We won't be able to change things if we don't stand together for what is right.
