There is no shortage of rumors and speculation relating to Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War but this is some information that you may want to take seriously. A prominent leaker is saying that the "Zeus" reveal (considered to be the working title of Cold War) will be taking place in the "Gulag area."

Little teasers have been piling up recently in Warzone relating to the upcoming Cold War game, including deconstructed RC-XDs found in some of the buildings in Warzone and visual glitches that feel very reminiscent of the brainwashing scenes of the original Black Ops. However, if this information is true, this would be the first time that we get a more obvious reveal for Cold War and possibly a look into how Warzone fits into this new story.

According to Dexerto, the leak comes from the Twitter handle @ModernWarzone which simply says, "Zeus reveal Gulag area." However, this isn't going to be the gulag that you go to when you die. Actually, there is a gulag on the Verdansk map that they are allegedly referring to. How this reveal will happen is anyone's guess, but that is apparently the place to go if you want to check it out.

Rumors have been circulating that we will get a real look at the upcoming game this Monday, due to the arrival of a crate from Activision saying that it is not to be opened until the 10th. In addition to that, Activision president Rob Kostich made it clear during an earnings report that there would be an announcement "fairly soon." Nobody knows what's in the box, but it certainly looks like something you would see during the Cold War era of history.

The way that the devs are going about this reveal is pretty unique and should bring peace of mind to those who are worried about the quality of another Black Ops title.  It is clear that those massive updates haven't just been to annoy us and take up space. They could be laying the groundwork for major changes to the world of Call of Duty and how we interact with the game. Either way, we know where we'll be on Monday.
