Blizzard will apparently be making the new heroes in Overwatch 2 a little bit easier to unlock in the future. Ramattra in particular is going to be available at Tier 45 rather than Tier 55 of the Battle Pass for those players who prefer the free-to-play version of the game. The news comes from Game Director on Overwatch 2 Aaron Keller who recently posted on Twitter that Ramattra, a new tank being added to the game in the upcoming Season 2, is going to be quite a bit more simple to unlock for players who choose not to purchase the Battle Pass.RELATED: This Week In Overwatch 2: Season 1 Sentiments, Season 2 Expectations, And Reinhardt Mains Mourn“Hey, all! Quick update on some changes coming to Season 2,” Keller said on the social media platform. “After reviewing data for Season 1, we're moving Ramattra into Tier 45 of the Battle Pass and making a few more weekly challenges easier to complete. Excited for you all to see everything new in Season 2 starting tomorrow!”Players who did not own Overwatch and who opted not to buy the Battle Pass in Overwatch 2 previously had to reach Tier 55 in order to unlock the new healer added to the game in Season 1, Kiriko. This of course was met with no small amount of frustration on the part of fans of this popular franchise, many of whom were quick to express their disappointment about the matter on social media platforms like Twitter and Reddit.

Ramattra will be joining the roster of heroes in Overwatch 2 at the start of Season 2 which is currently scheduled to launch on December 6, 2022. This upcoming content comes with a brand new Battle Pass, map, and a variety of different cosmetic items. Ramattra is a tank that can change shape on command, switching from the defensive Omnic Form to the offensive Nemesis Form.
