Blizzard claims to have more games in development than ever before and company president J. Allen Brack says they simply cannot wait to show fans what they're working on.

It's suspected that a lot of what's in development is mobile, something Brack alluded to in a recent interview with Forbes. But he also noted that there are titles being worked on which will be playable on PC and console.

Blizzard owns one of the biggest studios in the industry and employs thousands of employees. They're also the makers of one of the most popular games around in Overwatch.

According to Brack, there's a whole lot more in store, with the company now working on more games right now than it's released in all of its existence.

"We cannot wait to share everything we are working on," he told Forbes. "We have more games in development right now than we have had in Blizzard’s entire history.”

The exec stopped short of revealing exactly how many titles are being worked on but did say that: "the major gaming genres on major platforms such as PC and console as well as mobile initiatives.

"The reason we are further expanding our focus on our priority games is because we understand that it is not enough just doing more," he added. "That does not make sense if we do not conform to our standards with everything we launch.”

“It’s always exciting to have a new IP on hand, and there are many reasons to work on it. As developers, we are excited to work on new things for many of the same reasons why players want to enjoy something new. In the end, the most important thing for us is to create something that is great. A great gaming experience can happen within a new IP and can also be a favorite game."

With all of the development going on, Blizzard's staying away from VR production for now as they claim to pay attention to what's going on within the industry before attempting new ventures.
