BOOM! Studios Shows Off SDCC 2019 Exclusives

BOOM! Studios has a bunch of exclusive signings and swag at its SDCC 2019 booth, with some Power Rangers stuff up for grabs.

BOOM! Studios, best known for publishing the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers licensed comics, announced their planned offerings and events for San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) next week. The Studio will have a selection of convention exclusive comics featuring variant covers and special edition prints and, of course, limited edition enamel pins. BOOM! will also be organizing two panels at SDCC, one showcasing their indie comics and another discussing LGBTQ issues in entertainment.

BOOM!'s convention plans were revealed yesterday, July 10, via a company press release picked up by NewsARama.

    In addition to the smorgasbord of limited edition goodies there will be several signings throughout the show.

    The BOOM! Studio's booth will also host some non-comics celebrity signings in addition to their roster of writers and artists. Current WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston will make an appearance as well as actors and writers of cult classic TV show Farscape: Ben Browder, Claudia Black, Gigi Edgley, Rockney S. O'Bannon, and Brian Henson.

    Lastly, BOOM! Studios will host two panels at SDCC. The first will be titled Entertainment Is LGBTQ and builds on their reputation for supporting LGBTQ comics creators, particularly with the critically acclaimed Lumberjanes. The Second will be a showcase of several of BOOM!'s more recent Indie titles and is called BBOOM! Studios: Discover Yours. 

    The BOOM! Studios booth will be located in stall #2229 of the SDCC show floor which opens at 9:30 am, Thursday July 18. Entertainment Is LGBTQ will be held on Thursday, July 18 in room 26DE at 12pm and BOOM! Studios: Discover Yours on Friday, July 19 in room 32AB at 3pm.
