Borderlands 3 is as much about acquiring massive heaps of treasure and cartoonish weaponry as it is about looking really good while you do those things. Having the stronger gun isn't enough when flexing on your friends and teammates; you need to have style too.

Each of the playable vault hunters brings their own unique flair to the game, and Moze is no exception. For the couture-conscious loot aficionado, here are some items you should watch out for when dressing up your gunner extraordinaire.

10 Meowze

Borderlands 3 Moze Meowze

Yes, it's ancient and well-known wisdom by now that the internet is obsessed with all things feline, but what can we do? Not put this head on the list simply because everyone loves cats? Of course not.

Plenty of RPGs, fighters, and shooters feature create-a-character modes with a cat head accessory, so while it may seem kind of basic to include one here, we think Meowze is worthy of attention since it fits the bleak Borderlands aesthetic, and is therefore more inspired than your standard cutesy cat cosmetic. Sadly, Meowze is no longer unlockable at the time of this writing — expect an update if that changes.

9 Hotline Pandora

Borderlands 3 Moze Hotline

This head may not be exclusive to Moze, but it's too funky to not be praised at every opportunity. Grab this homage to top-down shooter (and meta-commentary on hedonism and video game violence) Hotline Miami during the '80s neon-inspired "Revenge of the Cartels" event... also go play Hotline Miami when you're finished.

8 Shark Tank

Borderlands 3 Moze Shark Tank

The planet of Pandora (and each of it's neighboring celestial bodies) is positively infested with big bads, but that's no problem because as an adept vault hunter you're even badder still. Buy this item from Crazy Earl. You deserve some head-wear that reflects your vaunted warrior status, or a piece that helps you put together your Left Shark cosplay, to each their own.

7 Pony Up

Borderlands 3 Moze Pony

The last of the animal masks for this list, promise. Horse head gags and memes go a long ways back, before a time when "meme" was apart of everyday vernacular, in fact.

From Eric-Andre-precursor "The Tom Green Show," to countless Vine pranks, there isn't a comedic medium today in which this vinyl, equestrian, crime against humanity hasn't been used a source of slapstick humor. Is the joke getting a bit tired? Maybe. Are we glad to see it make a swansong appearance in a Borderlands title? Absolutely. Crazy Earl sells this one to every character.

6 Fresh To Death

Borderlands 3 Moze Fresh To Death

These next few heads are where Borderlands' personality really starts to shine through. Farming world drops is worth it for this one because we really like these equal-parts punky, hip-hop and skater stylings for Moze. Is it too much to ask that Borderlands 4 feature a costume with backwards jeans and jerseys a la '90s rap duo Kris Kross?

5 Weapons Haute

Borderlands 3 Moze Guns Haute

Just because Moze is a rightfully angst-ridden former Vladof mercenary doesn't mean she can't appreciate the finer things, like high fashion. Moze already sports some strong brow, shadow, and winged liner game regardless of your chosen headgear so a sense of fashion should be expected. The play on "haute couture" and "weapons hot" is also appreciated. Pick this one up by completing each of the Killer Look Crew Challenges.

4 Mad Moze

Borderlands 3 Moze Mad

The Borderlands series' comedic backbone is its steadfast reliance on pop culture references for punchlines (BL2's "what's in the box!?" line from Handsome Jack is a fan favorite). But Gearbox has tapped one cultural icon for more than just quippy one liners — the Mad Max franchise is perhaps the biggest inspiration for Borderlands since the series' entire setting and enemy designs comes from those films.

Fitting then that the George Miller classic should finally get an explicit nod from BL3 in the form of the Mad Moze head. This item is a rare drop from the The Great Vault story mission.

3 Outlaw

Borderlands 3 Moze Outlaw

This one comes from the third expansion, Bounty of Blood, in BL3's first content season. This head was a bit divisive among Moze fans — many really appreciated this departure for the usually hat-clad Moze, others found the look to be too soft for the battle-worn merc. Some also thought the old west outlaw design was a bizarre direction to take the Slavic soldier. What's our verdict? We like the change of pace, besides, considering all of Moze's other cosmetic options, calling her design "soft" doesn't really hold up.

2 Commissar Andreyevna

Borderlands 3 Moze Commissar

Moze isn't shy about her back story, in the first few minutes of roaming around Pandora she'll tell you that she's an ex-mercenary who put that life behind her after she witnessed the slaughter of her compatriots at the battle of Darzaran Bay.

But the Designer's Cut expansions ask the question: what if each vault hunter was exceedingly successful in their prior careers? Commissar Andreyevna comes from a timeline where Moze never loses a battle and becomes something of a Vladof war hero, hence the decidedly Eastern-Bloc style on display.

1 Roll Player

Borderlands 3 Moze Roll Play

With all of the great add-on content that's come to Borderlands 3, it's hard to pick a favorite DLC. However, if you asked fans which DLC is their favorite in the entire series you'd probably find the vast majority responding with BL2's "Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep." Borderlands 3 never quite reaches the highs of that Dungeons & Dragons inspired epic, and maybe even Gearbox realizes that, which is why they included this homage to table top RPGs in BL3. This item was gifted to Twitch Prime members, there's no word on if it can be obtained now.
