Borderlands 3 is going to get a few more big reveals at this year’s E3, according to Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford.

If there’s one game this year to be stoked about, it’s Borderlands 3. The big gameplay reveal earlier this month showed us two of the new vault hunters, tons of new enemies, and loads of new weapons. But there’s still plenty more to see before the game’s big release, and some of that will be revealed at this year’s E3.

Randy Pitchford, Gearbox CEO and alleged Claptrap assaulter, took to Twitter on Friday to tease yet more details of the upcoming looter-shooter to be revealed. There will be a new planet, new vault hunter, and yet more gameplay shown at the Borderlands 3 Showcase event at E3 this year, and a playable demo at the 2K booth.

We’ve already seen Zane the Operative and Amara the Siren at the gameplay reveal earlier in May, which leaves just two vault hunters left: Moze the Gunner and FL4K the Beastmaster. Moze seems to take on the role of soldier from the previous Borderlands games but will have an action skill that seems very much inspired by the Mechromancer from Borderlands 2. Moze can summon “Iron Bear”, a giant mecha suit, and pilot it to great destructive effect while her teammates man turrets on Iron Bear’s back.

FL4K, meanwhile, has three animal companions to choose from: a scag, a spiderant, and a cat-like creature holding a gun. We’re still a bit unclear on what each of those creatures can do, so FL4K seems the vault hunter to benefit the most from a big E3 reveal.

We found out during Borderlands 3’s announcement that the game would finally leave the Pandora system and venture to other planets in the Borderlands universe. We’ve already seen Promethea, a planet even worse than Pandora, but there are tons of other Greek-themed planets that could be hiding a vault.

Pitchford also mentioned that they “may even have a surprise or two up our sleeves," which means there might be more than just planets and vault hunters to gawk at.

Borderlands 3 releases on September 13th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on the Epic Games Store.
