Borderlands 3 turns two today. It might not feel like it, but it’s now been two years since the game’s controversial launch on the Epic Games Store, which seemed to help Epic more than it did Gearbox.
Nevertheless, today is Borderlands 3's official launch day two years ago, and to celebrate, Gearbox is giving away some free stuff for a limited time.
First, the freebies. Type in the following Shift Code in Borderlands 3 and you'll get the Popsychle Vault Hunter Skin (pictured above), as well as the Pain Freeze Weapon Trinket (which adds a little treat to your weapon) and the Field Trip ECHO Device Skin (which makes your ECHO look like Marcus' bus).

There's also a code for a free Diamond Shift Key, which opens the Diamond Chest aboard Sanctuary 3. This might be one of the few times you'll find a Diamond Shift key open to everyone regardless of whether they own the Director's Cut DLC or not, so best type in this key fast before it's gone.

Your third freebie comes courtesy of Maurice, who has installed a Black Market Vending Machine "somewhere in the wilderness." Find it and you'll get a few bits of Legendary gear.
Gearbox saved the best for last. For the next 48 hours, Borderlands 3 will host the Loot Monster Mayhem mini event which brings increased spawn rates of Loot enemies to the game. Brutally murder one of these Loot goons and they'll erupt into a shower of loot, which will now include the Bekah Assault Rifle and the Earworm Assault Rifle.
Loot Monster Mayhem will end on September 15 at 8:59 AM PST. There's also still three days left for the previously announced Mayhem Made Mild and Show Me The Eridium Events that kicked off Borderlands 3's second anniversary a few weeks ago. Those will end on September 16 at 8:59 AM, so better act fast.
