Borderlands 3 is running three consecutive weeks of mini-events, giving you an increased chance to find powerful new gear. The events will rotate out each week, starting with the Clear Skies mini-event for week one.

Borderlands 3's Clear Skies mini-event launched earlier today at 12pm ET and will run until January 28. During the event, the storm in Arms Race will take longer to close in. "That means you'll be able to safely explore even more of the map in a single run," said Gearbox. "In addition, all enemy types are more likely to drop rare gear when killed during this event, so be sure to take down every enemy in sight."

Here are the next two mini-events you can look forward to:

Week 2 - Extra Extra Extraction: Air Drops will have an increased chance of dropping DAHL Chests, making it easier for you to find Arms Race-exclusive gear. Extraction stations will also offer additional slots so you can snag even more loot. The event begins on January 28.

Week 3 - Gear Rush: The final mini-event launches on February 4 at 12pm ET. This event increases the odds of Rare Chests appearing in Arms Race, and "the Green DAHL chests located at major points of interest in the Stormblind Complex have an increased chance to contain Arms Race-exclusive gear." It's not all good news, however, as the Murdercane will close in at a quicker pace.

Borderlands 3 has released consistent content updates and event drops since launching last year. Its next-gen upgrade is also available for Xbox Series X and PS5, giving you a chance to experience the world of Pandora with improved graphics and performance. These new mini-events are another fun addition, offering new and seasoned players alike a reason to dive back into the looting and shooting mayhem.

The Clear Skies mini-event is now live in Borderlands 3, with Extra Extra Extraction and Gear Rush planned to go live in the coming weeks.
