The sign of the ram is sure, straightforward, and confident. Loyal, caring, and family-first, those that fall under Aries stand up for what they believe in and make sure their loved ones know they care.
While Scooter, a supporting character from many Borderlands entries, may not be the strongest or the smartest guy on Pandora, he fits the bill for an Aries. He’s protective and defensive when it comes to his mom and sister, and will help his friends no matter what. When you Catch A Ride, you’re family. And family sticks together.
11 Taurus (April 20 - May 20) - Axton
Strong-willed and dominant, the Taurus is a force to be reckoned with. The Taurus thirsts for constant stimulation and adventure, and is always looking for the next big bang to add to their life. Of course, the most perfect choice for Taurus would be the bull-headed, cocky Commando from Borderlands 2, Axton.
His charm and quick wit are rivaled only by his prowess in combat and his willingness to charge headfirst into battle, no matter the size of the enemy. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to have a deadly turret backing you up.
10 Gemini (May 21 - June 21) - Zane
Gemini are extroverted smooth-talkers, making sure they’re center-stage in their life’s film reel. Although some can lean towards finicky and unreliable, they’re still able to maintain friendships and relationships despite their shortcomings.
Zane, the charming, smooth-talking Operative from Borderlands 3 is the Gemini of Pandora, if there ever was a perfect match. In addition to his big talk and bigger ego, he’s the representative of the sign of The Twins for another reason: his Digi-clone, the exact copy of himself. Sometimes the jokes make themselves.
9 Cancer (June 22 - July 22) - Lilith
Those born under the sign of the crab have a strong sense of self-preservation, and an unbending will. Despite their tough exterior, Cancers are loving and nurturing spirits at heart with a tender inside.
Lilith, a fierce commander and battle-hardened Siren, matches Cancer well. From the first Borderlands game onward, she has proven herself to be a capable and intimidating leader, as well as a caring and helpful friend. Having Lilith on your side means coming out on top, no matter what.
8 Leo (July 23 - August 22) - Hammerlock
A good adventurer like the Leo knows when to take a risk and when to step back and let someone else do the dirty work. Of course, this isn’t the only Leo quality that Sir Hammerlock exemplifies, but it’s his strongest trait.
First appearing in Borderlands 2, Hammerlock is a renowned hunter with a passion for danger. With the true heart of a lion, the bold explorer has lived a life much longer than others in his line of work. It pays to be courageous, but it pays better to let the Vault Hunters take the riskier business.
7 Virgo (August 23 - September 22) - Vaughn
Virgo are thoughtful and hungry for knowledge, although they can be shy and a little socially awkward at times. This sign comes in the form of Vaughn, a character from Tales from the Borderlands that makes a special appearance in Borderlands 3.
Vaughn may be a bit off-key, but he’s sharp as a whip and creative. What he lacks in bravery, he makes up for in sheer cunning intellect. So far, it’s working for him, even if the results aren’t quite what he originally set out to do.
6 Libra (September 22 - October 23) - Roland
Those born under the sign Libra uphold a personal code of swift paladin-like justice and honor. They are sure of the right way, making them strong leaders and loyal friends.
Roland, a straight-laced Soldier, has been cutting a path of resistance since the first Borderlands game. His leadership skills are evident throughout the series, as are the impacts he’s left along the way. If there ever was a sign to represent Lawful Good, it would be the Libra, and Roland checks off every box.
5 Scorpio (October 23 - November 21) - Jack
Observant and cunning, the Scorpio is not to be underestimated. If a Scorpio feels wronged, they’re sure to come back with a biting vengeance. Handsome Jack, first showing himself in Borderlands 2, knows exactly what he’s about.
He doesn’t need to be the Good Guy to put himself at the top, he just needs to outwit whoever stands in his way. And according to Jack, that seems to be everyone that isn’t him. A name to be feared, Handsome Jack gets what he wants.
4 Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21) - Tina
The Sagittaruis is an inventor and a tinkerer, and never has a shortage of unfinished projects laying around. This sign can make something out of nothing, especially if it’s big and confusing.
Tiny Tina is the perfect choice to represent the sign of the tactical Archer, and her creations always live up to the hype she gives them. She may be volatile and unpredicatable, but she’s a stellar combatant and an expert in demolitions.
3 Capricorn (December 22 - January 19) - Fran
The sign of the goat, Capricorn, may be accused of being a workaholic. Sometimes they do overdo it, but it’s for the greater good. The Capricorn is a determined worker, and there’s nothing they start that they don’t finish.
The hot-tempered Fran Miscowicz from New Tales From The Borderlands is a firecracker worthy of the Capricorn title. Laser-focused on business and profit, Fran may be out for blood, but she’s still a hard-working, down-home sweetheart at the end of the day. And that’s what it’s all about.
2 Aquarius (January 20-February 18) - Claptrap
The Water-Bearer is a curious, inquisitive, and enthusiastic sign. It’s all-or-nothing with an Aquarius, and they’ll see things through until the very end. Or, at least, until they can’t go any further on their own. Claptrap, a general purpose robot that gets an appearance in almost every Borderlands entry, isn’t your average excitable robot.
While he may be a little annoying, he’s profoundly useful and sticks to the plan as much as he’s able to. In fact, Claptrap is so confident in the resistance and his place in the world that he follows you up until the very end of the line. Or, stairs, rather.
1 Pisces (February 19 - March 20) - Tannis
Full of heart and soul, the Pisces is a sentimental and sometimes materialistic sign. Pisces take pride in their creations and possessions, and always strive for the best. Dr. Patricia Tannis, making her debut in the first Borderlands game, is a woman who wears many hats.
Siren, scientist, and archaeologist are just a few of the accomplishments Dr. Tannis has achieved. She prides herself on being educated and worldly, and has an astounding collection of artifacts and trinkets from all over the galaxy.
