Over a million people have searched for Borderlands-themed content on the most popular adult website since the game's launch earlier this month.

The popular looter shooter dropped on September 13 and, while it's quite clearly a co-op game, a great number of fans have been playing solo by watching racey content on the aforementioned site while doing God knows what.

The number of people searching for the game has increased by a whopping 12,905 percent since it released. That makes it five times more popular than Fortnite and three times more popular than Overwatch.

Of course, that should come as no surprise given the popularity of characters from children's cartoons like The Flintstones and more adult ones such as Family Guy.

They have released an infographic pointing out the most common Borderlands-related searches and "borderlands 3" is the most sought-after for now. Other terms such as "borderlands moxxi," "borderlands 2," and "borderlands lilith" are all quite popular too. It wouldn't be complete without "borderlands cosplay" searches which is pretty high up the list too.

Visitors aged 18-24 are 119 percent more likely to search for the above than persons of other age groups.

So it appears that all of those cool guns aren't the only thing players are busting out when Borderlands characters get on screen. Don't forget to save some energy for when Cyberpunk 2077 drops next year: It probably wouldn't be unfair to deduce that the percentage of females who engage in such searches will have a right go at Keanu Reeves.
