Have you ever tried fixing something but only ended up making it worse? We've all been there, but the latest victim of the ironic tragedy is Gearbox Software. The developer put out a small update for Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, featuring Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, only for the collection to end up broken. Several reports have come in about players encountering game breaking bugs, or being stuck in infinite loading loops.

Gearbox is aware of the issue and is working on it. "Today we released updates for BL1, BL2, & TPS. These updates made changes to the in-game news," said a tweet by the developer. "We are currently investigating issues that have appeared since the updates went out, including how some text is displaying and console players being stuck loading the game." The devs have asked that players experiencing these bugs report them by creating a ticket with 2K support.

These bugs have been ranging from weird text and numbers glitches, to infinite loading screens, and in some extreme cases, entire save files being deleted. It's not clear what exactly is causing these issues, but it's certain that they only arose after the latest update for the collection went live.

While the players affected by these bugs will be cursing their luck, someone playing the latest Borderlands game, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, couldn't believe theirs. Randomly generated drops for the guns in this series means that you may not get the drop you desire even after multiple playthroughs. However, streamer Moxsy came across an item which had a one-in-85 billion chance of dropping.

The item in question was a mod called 'Ascended Warlock's Amalgam of Glorious Purpose', which offers 49.4 percent more spell damage, 59.3 percent ability critical hit chance, 29.7 percent area damage, 29.7 percent all damage dealt, and 59.3 percent spell critical chance. Additionally, it improves the Spellshot class by 52.6 percent and Graveborn by 26.3 percent.

As explained by ConstantCanadian, using some very complicated math, this particular item's chances of dropping were 1/85,233,160,000, or 0.00000000117 percent.
