Dungeons are deep and mysterious places and the ones found in Boyfriend Dungeon have their own secrets to hide. If you’re planning to adventure down into the “dunj” depths, you’ll need a trustworthy companion and effective powerups. However, you’ll need to craft your own powers with the materials you find while exploring and slaying monsters.

As expected, some materials are harder to come across than others and RNG plays a big role. Monster-slaying can yield a lot of rewards, but it’s also risky and time-consuming. Because of this, there’s no shame in buying what you need in order to progress further.

Types Of Shops

The world of Boyfriend Dungeon has several shops that you can visit for various goods if you’re not having the best luck grinding.

  • El Granero: This is the box office of Verona Beach that advertises different shows coming to town. It sells tickets that can be given as gifts to your friends and partners. The tickets cover shows such as operas, outdoor concerts, and ballets. It also sells the two elusive materials, Holy Energy and Dark Essence.
  • Championne Athleisure: A combination sporting goods, fashion, and crafts store, this shop provides a nice selection of goods. It has a number of different outfits that you can buy to expand your wardrobe for a personal touch. It also includes uncommon crafting materials such as Fabric and Glue.
  • The Monster Shop: The monsters encountered in the dungeons are manifestations of your deepest fears, but that doesn’t mean they don’t like shopping. Dungeons have places to access a shop meant for monsters, but will also sell to you. These shops tend to sell and trade rarer materials such as Steel Ingots and Holy Energy.

The Dungeons

The Wielder Attacks Monsters In The Mall

There are two dungeons you’ll be able to explore in Boyfriend Dungeon, each dealing with a specific fear that you’ll need to overcome. The first dungeon is located in the local mall and will give you access to a lot of the basic materials needed to make gifts, clothes, and zines.

The second dungeon is located in the basement of La Rosa, a nightclub run by the character Sunder. It’s much larger than the mall with monsters that are far more dangerous, but it also has a higher chance to yield some of the more uncommon materials. Each dungeon has hangouts and treasures to find as well as access to the Monster Shop.

Finding The Monster Shop

The Wielder Faces Against A Group Of Glass Drink Monsters

The Boyfriend Dungeon dungeons are filled with long layouts and hidden areas hiding vaults and more. You can break down certain walls to access secret rooms filled with enemies and treasures. Thankfully, the Monster Shop is not as hard to find as you might think. Throughout the dungeons, you can find vending machines and ATMs. They can be frequently found in monster-free areas or near hangouts.

When interacting with them, they’ll give you an option to “Access” or “???” for 5.00 dollars. By paying this, the machine will disappear and reveal a secret area. Go down the stairs to find the Monster Shop. It may have some monsters, but they won’t be hostile towards you. It also provides safe passage down to the next floor of the dungeon.
