Bungie has weighed in on social media, staunchly defending people's right to bodily autonomy, and has been responding swiftly and decisively to people who are unhappy with its pro-choice stance.Since Politico broke the story, people have been taking to Twitter to voice their support for or opposition to the right to an abortion. If Roe v. Wade is overturned, safe abortions will be banned in 26 states. One reply, "Can we just stick to making video games?" was met with the decisive, "Never." Another, "you are a video game company," was met with the more comical, "you are a toaster," due to their profile picture being a toaster.

One longer reply stated the company should focus on pleasing video game fans and steering clear of politics. The company responded, "We’ve chosen our side and it wasn’t difficult. Our company values exist beyond our games." When another said it should "stop politics" as it's "irrelevant to what yall do," it responded, "It’s very relevant to the lives of our employees. We will never stop."
