It was also the best selling Activision game on the Xbox store.

We're not saying that these guns and ammo and things aren't awesome, just that compared to all the others on the list, they're just not as awesome. For the honest truth about the new COD, keep on reading!

30 Best: MX9

via: dexerto.com

As we're starting this list with the best first, it's only natural that our first best pick is a favorite of many. The MX9 is a submachine gun that you can buy for $750.

A lot of gamers like machine guns because of their rapid-fire rate.

The MX9 being no different, it makes taking out your enemies a lot easier. According to its wiki page (because everything has one now), it's not the most powerful SMG in the game, but it's a favorite.

29 Worst: Body Armor

via:youtube.com

The Black Ops 4 body armor is causing a massive stir between Call of Duty fans. It's probably the biggest issue that's arisen since the game was released. Well, even before that when the betas were released.

The body armor is dividing people with some on the side of 'it helps us stay alive longer' and most on the side of 'this is awful'. Body armor means that it takes longer to take someone out in the game, which is good for that person, and annoying for the experienced gamers who like to build their streak quickly.

28 Best: SG12

via:youtube.com

The SG12 is the new shotgun of Black Ops 4. The general opinion of shotguns in Call of Duty games is pretty low. On one hand, it's hard to maintain health after a hit from a shotgun, which gets annoying.

On the other hand, it's also pretty hard to shoot and get it right with a shotgun, unlike machine guns you can't just fire rapidly. The SG12 has around the same impact as other shotguns of the game, but its automatic abilities give it that extra step.

27 Worst: Vapr-XKG

via: shacknews.com

The Vapr-XKG is a good gun, but it's not one of our favorites. Mainly because in the hands of extra skilled players, no one stands a chance at all. The Vapr-XKG is a fully-automatic assault rifle that's its best quality is its rapid rate of fire.

The downfall of this piece is that in the hands of a skilled player, you'll be respawning immediately. The Vapr-XKG also comes with scopes which take some getting used to so we suggest using a different weapon and building your skill so you can become great with this one.

26 Best: KN-57

via: callofduty.wikia.com

The KN-57 is a new piece for Black Ops 4. For those of you who know your Call of Duty items, you will appreciate the aesthetic of the KN-57. This is available at level 10 or level one for default classes.

It's a fully automatic assault rifle that is good for veteran Call of Duty players, as well as newbies. People with absolutely no skill or knowledge about the game or the controls will thrive with the KN-57.

25 Worst: GKS

via: youtube.com

The GKS is one of the new items introduced in Black Ops 4. It is a fully automatic submachine gun with low recoil which is good, but the accuracy might be an issue. According to its wiki page, the GKS has great accuracy at a certain range.

The issue is defeating enemies is a lot easier when you're further away from them, meaning long range accuracy is important in a gun. The GKS is good for close shooting, but then you have to try and not be attacked first.

24 Best: Auger DMR

via:youtube.com

According to gamers and those extremely knowledgeable about the Call of Duty games, the Auger DMR looks to be the best piece in the entire Black Ops 4 game.

That's a pretty intense title.

The Auger DMR is a semi-automatic tactical rifle. It's extremely powerful and what makes it so useful is its extreme accuracy. It's good for long-distance shooting as well as close range combat. The price of this wonderful item is that it's pretty rare.

23 Worst: ABR 223

via: dexerto.fr

The ABR 223 might look like you've seen it before, but it's a new addition in Black Ops 4. It's a three round burst tactical rifle which can inflict maximum damage to an enemy. It sounds good but the real let down for this weapon is the accuracy.

The ABR 223 is great at close range, but distances don't do it full justice.

Basically, it's good if you want to shoot someone right next to you, but it's not a great weapon for hiding and trying to be quiet about it. Leave this one for when you just want to cause some loud damage.

22 Best: Paladin HB50

via: youtube.com

The Paladin HB50 starts off well just because it has a pretty cool name. It's one of the nicest sniper rifles in the game, and usually, no one picks snipers. People who use snipers are kind of annoying in the game because they hide and it seems like an unfair advantage, but hey, it's war.

The Paladin HB50 isn't just a simple sniper rifle. It is extremely powerful and can take down an enemy in just one or two shots. The only issue is it's slow to reload and loud, so you have to pretty skilled to use this one.

21 Worst: Koshka

via: shacknews.com

The Koshka is a new item in Black Ops 4. It's a sniper rifle with a pretty cool name. The Koshka may sound awesome but it does have its downfalls. Firstly the Koshka has a faster firing rate than most snipers, which is good. Shooting more quickly means more chances of taking down enemies.

The downfall is it doesn't inflict as much damage. This means that you might be able to hit an enemy, but you'll have to do it, again and again, to really take them out. We suggest practicing with other snipers before selecting the Koshka.

20 Best: Swordfish

via: reddit.com

Speaking of cool names, swordfish seems like a really awesome name for a gun. The Swordfish is a tactical rifle that can be used as a fully-automatic if you tap the trigger fast enough.

According to knowledgeable gamers, it's considered to be second to the Auger DMR as the best item in the game. It has great accuracy and shoots well at long range. We suggest building up some skill before using this rifle so that you know you're going to get the perfect shot.

19 Worst: SDM

via:dotesports.com

The SDM is another new addition to Black Ops 4. It is an awesome looking semi-automatic sniper rifle. The SDM magazine holds ten rounds which is alright but the damage and range of this rifle aren't fantastic.

It may be good for close range and shooting your enemy quickly but it's not something to go crazy about. The accuracy was also rated quite low. All in all, we think we can agree that the SDM is probably a miss out of all the pieces in this game.

18 Best: Titan

via: shacknews.com

The Titan is one of the available light machine guns in Black Ops 4. Although it is heavy and takes a while to reload, the Titan's talents make up for it big time.

It has limited recoil which makes aiming again easier.

It's also got the largest magazine in the entire game, which makes it such an advantage for players, as they can take out others while they're reloading. The player wielding the Titan basically never has a weak point when they have to reload. It's pretty smart.

17 Worst: RK 7 Garrison

via: pcgamesn.com

The RK 7 Garrison is a new pistol featured in Black Ops 4. It holds 15 rounds and fires fast, but it has a long list of negative features. Firstly it has moderate recoil, so it isn't bad but it isn't good either.

Not to mention that pistols don't do a lot of damage when playing multiplayer.

Most people will pick the bigger guns and only have the pistol as a secondary item. If you have insanely skilled talents for playing Call of Duty then you might be alright, but generally, people will get you first if you have a pistol.

16 Best: Zweihander

via:youtube.com

The Zweihander is an amazing light machine gun that is available through zombies. The Zweihander is a super fast machine gun with an extended magazine that inflicts a lot of damage.

That's basically the description of the dream piece to have in a Call of Duty game. The Zweihander is here to answer our prayers. The parts you have to get used to is it runs out of ammo quite quickly and takes a while to reload. They're had to be some cons to all those pros.

15 Worst: MOG 12

via: shacknews.com

The MOG 12, we're betting, will be the least used item in the entire Black Ops 4 game. It's a pump action shotgun. Usually, there are a select few that swear by shotguns in the game and will often use them.

They probably won't be bringing the MOG 12 out much.

The redeeming quality of how slow shotguns are is their ability to take down an enemy in one go. The MOG 12 needs at least two shots to incapacitate an enemy, which makes it even less useful in battle. We don't think even the best shotgun gamers would pick this one up much.

14 Best: Rampart 17

via: shacknews.com

Black Ops 4 has given us a lot of gifts. Apart from the main game being amazing, all the new items are also fantastic. This list includes the Rampart 17. It is a fully-automatic assault rifle with a slower rate of fire.

You might think that slower can't be better but the damage the Rampart 17 can inflict well makes up for its lack of speed. It can take out players in only four shots at close range. When you think about it, that's actually pretty good. You just have to make sure to be able to sneak attack as it's not that fast.

13 Worst: Hellion Salvo

via: reddit.com

The Hellion Salvo is a rocket-launcher in Black Ops 4. It sounds really awesome and you're probably thinking 'why isn't this in the good section?' well, it's not that great. The Hellion Salvo carries 4 rounds and is fantastic against vehicles, but not so much against enemies.

Plus it may cause big, loud explosions but that can be a downfall. In multiplayer most people play with the theory to sneak around and keep as quiet as possible while taking enemies down. While using the Hellion Salvo you'll draw everyone's attention to you and it only has for shots...

12 Best: Maddox RFB

via: proiide.net

The Maddox RFB will have you so excited to play Black Ops 4 you'll go out and buy it today. The Maddox RFB is everything a fully-automatic assault rifle should be.

New or seasoned, everyone will want this piece.

It has a high fire rate which great for tackling a lot of enemies at once. It has a bigger magazine and basically no recoil which means newbies should watch out. Players who are already skilled are going to be lethal when they use this gun.

11 Worst: Combat Knife

via:pcgamesn.com

The combat knife has been a staple of the COD armory since the beginning. In Campaign mode it might be pretty useful, being able to sneak around and take down enemies nearly silently.

In Multiplayer it's rendered useless. It's impossible to sneak up on enemies and attack them from behind as they don't just stand still. Also, they have guns and will just shoot you on sight before you can get close enough to them to get them with the combat knife.
