This is not a drill, we repeat, this is not a drill—the official worldwide reveal for Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War's multiplayer will be happening tomorrow.

Black Ops Cold War has been hyped for the last several weeks, starting with the alternate reality game pawn takes pawn. The game was being played in Warzone, both confusing and intriguing players. Outside of that promotion, data miners have been the major source of leaks and information relating to the very secretive game, increasing both speculation and excitement. Today, however, we got official news that a worldwide reveal will either prove or disprove what we think we know about the upcoming multiplayer.

The actual tweet from Treyarch doesn't list a time or give much away in the form of details. We can report, however, that the reveal will be happening at 1 pm EST, 10 am PST. Based on the data mining sessions that have been happening for the past two months, we should expect to see the return of zombies to Call of Duty, as well as some fan-favorite weapons—including the AK-47.

Based on teaser footage, we can expect that there will be a large desert map. We don't know where that desert is, or how it ties into the in-game universe just yet. Similarly, we know from statements from Activision that Warzone will fit in somehow—but we don't know exactly how that will work.

Aside from rumors and data mining, we don't have much to go on. Many of you have been very excited about the game since it was teased in Warzone, though, and the speculation surrounding the game has made it even more intriguing. Activision and Treyarch know that there is a lot riding on this and that there are high expectations. They should also know that a lot of you want some old elements back, such as the prestige system, and the zombies mini-games. The evidence seems to point toward the return of those items, but they are largely rumors.

We will see what is actually planned for the new multiplayer when the event happens tomorrow. Be sure to check it out and if you miss it, don't worry. We will let you know what you may have missed.
