First Verdansk got overrun by zombies, then it got nuked, and then it became the set piece for an '80s action hero revival. And now Verdansk will be the center of another terrible calamity starting in Season 4 thanks to a satellite that comes crashing down to Earth.

That's according to the new trailer that Activision just dropped showcasing all the new Call of Duty stuff we can look forward to in the very near future. After Adler's capture and subsequent retrieval in Verdansk, a new villain has appeared with plans to obtain valuable space-based intel by getting a satellite to crash into the Warsaw Pact country of Kostovia.

Although, apparently this villain has plans for Algeria too if you look at the coordinates listed at the beginning of the trailer.

Besides the new Warzone map changes, expect some new multiplayer maps coming in Season 4, including Collateral in 6v6 or 12v12, Amsterdam in 2v2, and the return of Hijacked 6v6. This confirms an earlier rumor that Hijacked was returning from Call of Duty Black Ops 2, a beloved multiplayer map that has been long-requested for a revamp.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's popular Zombies mode is also getting a new map that looks like a fantasy theme park. And also some giant ents are also a problem along with the zombies. I'm sure the explanation for walking tree monsters and fire-breathing dragons will be interesting.

Eagle-eyed viewers can also catch a glimpse of what appears to be a remastered Berlin map at the end of the trailer.

A new Gulag map looks to be on the way as well as a new weapon that might just be a nailgun. Not exactly a modern assault rifle, but deadly in the right circumstances.

Call of Duty Season 4 arrives on all platforms on June 17.
