This weapon makes its mark at mid to long-range combat, so if you are one of those players who love to either hold down a high-up position taking down opponents from afar, or you like to run around the fringes of the map and pick off enemies from a somewhat safe distance, this may just be the gun for you.

Since it is such a powerful weapon, you can try it in those close-up fights, but players with Submachine Guns may have the upper hand with their high rate of fire and high-speed movement. With some trial and error, you will find where in the chaos of battle this works best for you.

Description

Tactical

Flash Grenade

Since you will be using this weapon mostly in mid-range combat, bring a Flash Grenade along to blind the enemy and ensure those kills. Another great option is the Stim tactical, to regenerate some health when you need it.

Lethal

Molotov Cocktail

Setting the other team on fire or using fire to block an entrance or exit is always rewarding. This is where Molotov Cocktails come in. If that isn't your style, then bring along a Frag Grenade or Semtex.

Perk Packages

Double Time Scavenger, Fast Hands, and Quick Fix

Whether you are holding down one high point and running to another or running around the edge of the map to get kills, Double Time will help with that. Scavenger will allow you to stay up on ammo from picking it up off fallen enemies, and Fast Hands will make that pesky long Marksman Rifle reloads much quicker.

Lastly, use Quick Fix to regenerate health after every kill. You can also swap out Fast Hands and Quick Fix for Cold Blooded and Ghost, to allow yourself to be hidden from any enemy utilities, such as UAV, Thermal Sights, and Radars.

Field Upgrades

Dead Silence and Portable Radar

Being able to move around the map without making a sound is any sniper's best friend — use Dead Silence for this. The Portable Radar will come in handy when you are unsure where the enemy is, if you are worried they are sneaking up to your sniping spot, or if you are holding down an objective and want to see where they are coming from, so you can get the first drop.

You will find that this Marksman Rifle is quite versatile unlike many of the other weapons in its family. The Fire Rate is nothing compared to a Submachine, but compared to other Marksman Rifles, it will feel like a fully automatic weapon. Remember that this weapon shines in mid-range to long-range combat, so only get up close if you really need to.
