Now, you can collect a variety of skins that let you showcase your personality or strike fear into your enemies.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a perfect example of that. There are a ton of Operator skins available. Some are unlocked by playing and others are purchasable through Tracer Packs. No matter how you obtain them, you'll find that a handful of the MW2 Operator Skins outshines the rest.

10 Foxy

The Foxy Operator skin for Hutch stands with an assault rifle in his hands in MW2.

Foxy is an Operator skin variant for Hutch. It arrived in the Red Fox Tracer Pack and was an immediate favorite. This is due mainly to the fuzzy ears found on the top of Hutch's head.

The big and muscular Hutch appears as a harmless man with a love for foxes. He's still dangerous, though. Don't let the bright orange color scheme and the cute weapon skin that comes with the Tracer Pack fool you.

9 Messi

Lionel Messi holds an SMG for his collaboration appearance in MW2.

Lionel Messi was added to MW2 in a crossover with soccer, in a collaboration that also included Operator skins for Paul Pogba and Neymar Jr. Of course, Messi snagged himself a 2022 FIFA World Cup trophy and is often considered the greatest footballer of all time.

There's nothing wildly unique about the Messi skin, except that it is Lionel Messi, and the likeness of the star is near-perfect. If you got the skin with the rest of the bundle, it comes with a special Finishing Move that puts his kicking skills to use.

8 Ghillied Up

Captain Price in his Ghillied Up Operator skin kneels with a sniper rifle in MW2.

"All Ghillied Up" is one of the most well-known missions in Call of Duty history. In the original Modern Warfare and its remaster, you play as Captain Price in the stealth mission of all stealth missions. The Ghillied Up Operator skin in MW2 pays homage to that.

It is obtainable after completing the Season 2, Episode 2 raid mission. You get the bearded Captain Price, covered in grass. His face is painted to blend in while he slinks through nature to get the drop on his enemies.

7 High Society

High Society points a weapon forward while aiming down the sights in MW2.

Gus is the base Operator for the High Society skin in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. This is a part of the Executive Warfighter 2 Tracer Pack. It is meant to resemble the most sophisticated of bank robbers.

High Society hides Gus' face, unlike its counterpart in the Tracer Pack, Three Piece. He covers his head and mouth, with only a small portion of skin showing around his sunglasses. Top it off with the fancy suit he does battle in and you've got yourself a no-nonsense, dapper Operator.

6 Violent In Violet

The Violent in Violet Operator Skin prepares to deploy in Warzone 2.0.

Purple Jolt is one of the more vibrant Tracer Packs in MW2. It only comes with one Operator skin, unlike many others with two included. That one skin is a Calisto variant known as Violent in Violet.

A purple scheme is what you'll find with the Violent in Violet Operator skin. She has dark clothing with a touch of purple shining through, bright purple hair, and black eye makeup that makes her look much more menacing than she would without.

5 Loch Ghost

The Loch Ghost Operator skin in MW2 stands in the locker room with one hand holding a weapon pointed towards the ground.

Ghost is arguably the most popular character to come out of the Modern Warfare series. That was made even more prevalent by his appearance in 2022's Modern Warfare 2. So, it's natural that he received some of the cooler Operator skins in the game.

From the Deepwater Bundle, you can add Loch Ghost to your skin locker. This is an aquatic operation version of Ghost. It comes with breathing tubes, headphones, and knobs to make his apparatus work.

4 Invoker

The Invoker Operator skin in MW2 stands with two hands holding an SMG.

Horangi is the base for one of the spookiest Operator skins to arrive in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The Dark Rituals Tracer Pack includes the Invoker skin, and it comes with some eerie weapon skins, charms, and decals to scare your opponents.

The skin itself is downright horrifying. Especially if you run into it unexpectedly after rounding a corner on one of the game's darker maps. Aside from red accents, including the demonic markings on the facemask, this skin is black from head to toe.

3 Gilded Reaper

The Gilded Reaper Operator skin for Ghost in MW2 is in his signature stance with one hand holding his weapon.

Gilded Reaper is a sleek Ghost Operator skin from the Bone Chiller Tracer Pack. It takes the famous MW2 character and gives him the Midas Touch. A bit of gold is added to the mask and that's all it takes to make it one of the best skins in the FPS.

The golden skull sits on an all-black outfit that includes a hooded cape and a bulky leather vest. Gilded Reaper retains Ghost's signature gloves with the faded skeleton hands but adds a pair of dark sunglasses over his mask.

One word describes this Operator's skin and that word is "smooth."

2 Ghillie Monster

The Ghillie Monster skin in MW2 is a typical ghillie suit, but with an intimidating tribal-like mask covering the face.

Konig is a big, scary dude in Modern Warfare 2. His base skin is intimidating, but then they decided to give him even more frightening variations. The one that outdoes them all is the Ghillie Monster.

The Overgrown 2 bundle includes the Ghillie Monster Operator skin, which takes a simple Ghillie suit and turns it into your worst nightmare. The size of Konig paired with the ape-like mask covering his face makes this stealth-based skin one you'll want to keep out in the open as a scare tactic.

1 Shredder

The Shredder Operator skin in MW2 stands with his arms out and his signature claws coming from his wrists.

In recent years, Call of Duty has jumped on the crossover train, joining the likes of Fortnite and PUBG. They've introduced characters such as Rambo, John McClane, and even Godzilla. Well, MW2 might have received the best crossover of them all with The Shredder.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles villain came to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in a Tracer Pack that bears his name. Not only is it just plain cool to see in-game, but it also adds yet another unique skin without a base Operator to the roster.

The details of the costume and all the goodies that come in the Tracer Pack are perfect.
