We are now well into Season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which has come loaded with new playlists, maps, and customization options for weapons and more. One of those customization options in question is gun camos, and there is one in particular that will take quite a bit of work to get but may be worth it nonetheless.

The Obsidian Camo in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will require players to complete quite a few tasks before they have access to it, as Obsidian is one of the completionist camo options available in Modern Warfare.

While the Damascus camo isn't necessary to obtain the Obsidian camo, players are only able to unlock the Obsidian camo for weapons individually. This means that the Obsidian camo does not unlock for all weapons upon completion of a set of tasks.

The first prerequisite for the Obsidian camo is having the Gold camo. The Gold camo requires that the player has every camo for any given gun. It is only after this that players will have access to the tasks for the Obsidian camo.

As per Gaming Intel, the requirements vary between gun types. However, to obtain the Obsidian camo for Assault Rifles, players will need to get 15 kills with the rifle in 200 matches.

Similarly, players will need to execute 15 kills for 150 matches with Submachine Guns, Light Machine Guns, and Shotguns to obtain the Obsidian camo for those weapon types.

For the Snipers and Marksman weapons, players will need to kill 15 players with them in 125 matches.

Pistols will require 15 kills for 100 matches, while shields will need 750 kills overall.

Knives will need 10 kills in a match 125 times and RPGs will need five kills in a match 150 times.

Finally, to get the Obsidian camo for other Launchers, players will need to destroy 150 vehicles or killstreaks in total.

Once the requirements have been fulfilled for any particular weapon type, players will have access to the Obsidian camo at the customization option.

As can be seen above, the Obsidian camo requires dedication from players to particular weapons, but for the completionists out there, it could be very worth it in the end.
