The infinite stim glitch in Call of Duty Warzone has been a thorn in Raven Software’s side for a while now. The developer has tried to fix the glitch four different times now, but players have always managed to find a work around. However, it looks like Raven has now taken an alternate approach which just might kill the glitch once and for all.

The infinite stim glitch allows players to survive outside the circle by using the stim tool constantly to avoid death via the gas. After multiple failed attempts at fixing the glitch itself, Raven has decided to amp up the damage that the gas does over time, hence removing any scope of using the glitch at all.

As spotted by PC Gamer, this stim killing update was part of a number of gameplay changes listed down in the Warzone Season 2 patch notes. "Players that are continually in the gas will suffer more damage over time." This simple approach may finally put an end to the unfair use of the stim tool which allows players to survive outside the circle.

Other gameplay changes coming with the update include the FARA 83 Assault Rifle and the LC10 SMG spawning across Verdansk, the ability to complete previously unlocked Seasonal Challenges in future seasons, the removal of Warzone Intel missions, and balancing the XP gain of KingSlayer and other unique modes.

Four new operators will be heading to Warzone, Kapano “Naga” Vang, Karla Rivas,

Terrel Wolf, and Samantha Maxis. Vang will be available during the launch week and can be unlocked via the Battle pass, while the rest of the operators will be interspersed throughout the season and will be unlockable through the Store Bundle.

Verdansk will also receive new points of interest on the map. The shipwreck of the Vodianoy has run aground at the low estuary of swamp ground less than a klick west of the Zordaya Prison Complex. Three new missile silos have also been discovered at Arklov Peak Military Base, the Novi Grazna Hills, and in Tavorsk Park.

Subway, Stadium Garage, and Bunkers 00, 04, 05, 06, 09, 11 have been shut down due to the contamination.
