Despite throwing her cat over her head during a live stream, Alinity's Twitch follower count has actually gone up since the incident.

The more serious gamers among you will know that there is nothing as infuriating as being frustrated by a difficult game. Whether it be a boss that has bested you for the 20th time, or a 12-year-old who just schooled you on FIFA, losing can send you into a blind rage. Just make sure nothing more than your poor controller bears the brunt of that anger.

Unfortunately, streamer Alinity took her anger out on more than her tools when playing Apex Legends recently. When her cat Mylo happened to cross her path, and seemingly tried to walk across her keyboard, Alinity grabbed the feline and tossed the poor thing over her head. Not the smartest thing to do when your fans are watching your every move on a live stream.

The internet is quite rightly outraged by Alinity's act, and people have done everything from calling the authorities to starting a petition to have her banned from Twitch. It seems as if people have done everything apart from the very minimum they should have done if they were really upset by what the streamer did to her cat. Unfollow her.

At the time of the incident, Alinity was hovering around the 889,000 follower mark on Twitch. As we type this, she is closing in on 896,000 followers. You'd have thought that if people were really that outraged by Alinity's actions, her follower count would have dropped off dramatically. Not only has that not happened, but it seems to be growing at the same rate as it was before all of this.

Despite Alinity not being banned from Twitch, or seeing her follower count experience a deserved drop off, there is some good news. Apparently, Mylo is okay, and the streamer has seen the error of her ways. Alinity has publicly apologized for what she did, and also let her fans know the SPCA will be visiting her house so she can officially say that Mylo and all of her pets live in a safe environment.
