Atlus has revealed some of the new features that will be coming to Catherine: Full Body – the updated port of Catherine that is coming to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Catherine was an unusual puzzle game that was released in 2011, where you played a slacker named Vincent who is torn between becoming more serious with Katherine, his straight-laced girlfriend, and Catherine, a more fun-loving girl who he has more in common with.

The puzzle element of the game came in the form of nightmare sequences, where Vincent had to climb a giant tower made of blocks while being pursued.

Catherine managed to acquire a community for its competitive multiplayer mode but also drew criticism for its depiction of trans characters.

Catherine: Full Body is a remastered version of the game that will feature a lot of new content, most notably in the form of a new love interest for Vincent in the form of a girl named Rin.

Those who purchase early print run copies of Catherine: Full Body will receive some exclusive bonuses which will be highly valued by certain fans.

The early-print run of Catherine: Full Body will give the player a set of "Nero Glasses", which will let you see every character in the game in their underwear. You can also watch cutscenes using the Nero Glasses.

The fanservice-laden photos that were sent to Vincent's phone have also been upgraded, with several new ones being added for Catherine, Katherine, and Rin.

One of the biggest additions to the early print run of Catherine: Full Body is the ability to play as Joker from Persona 5 in the Babel and Colosseum modes. Playing as Joker in these modes will play some of the best songs from Persona 5 in the background, as well as giving you brief cutscenes with the other members of the Phantom Thieves after completing each stage.

Catherine: Full Body also comes with full online functionality for its competitive multiplayer mode.

The Japanese version of Catherine: Full Body will also offer ten additional voice actors for Catherine as DLC, though this feature will likely be absent from the English language release.

Catherine: Full Body will be released on February 14th in Japan and will be coming to other countries at some point in 2019.
