CD Projekt RED has recently announced that E3 2019 will be its biggest year for the company yet, as it has many surprises in store for fans.

E3 2019 has had a few notable dropouts, with both EA and Sony declaring their absence from this year's conference. The presence of EA and Sony might not be missed, though, as CD Projekt Red is promising big things at E3 2019, while also confirming that a certain celebrity won't be attending its event.

CD Projekt Red recently held a press conference that outlined its financial results for 2018 (via. VG247) during which company president Adam Kicinski stated that the upcoming E3 2019 event was going to top the one from the previous year.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most highly-anticipated video games in development and is due to be featured at E3 2019. Kicinski's comments suggest that we will see a lot of footage from Cyberpunk 2077 at E3, with the possible addition of a release date.

Kicinski also responded to a question from an investor, who asked if CD Projekt Red would be bringing any pop stars to E3 2019, which Kicinski denied.

The pop star that is being referenced is Lady Gaga, who was rumored to have been spotted at CD Projekt Red's studio and was said to be recording a voice-over for the game and performing motion-capture for a character. The rumor also stated that Lady Gaga's collaboration with Cyberpunk 2077 would be announced at E3 2019, though there was no word on whether she would be attending the event.

Kicinski's denial of the Lady Gaga rumors might not mean much, though, as he isn't likely to spoil a huge E3 surprise during an investors meeting, so it's possible that he's obfuscating the truth in order to keep the reveal a secret until E3.

The footage that has been revealed of Cyberpunk 2077 so far has been impressive and fans are chomping at the bit to learn more. The fact that CD Projekt Red confirmed the game's presence at E3 suggests that it may have other reveals to make during the conference. A new Witcher TV show is in development and CD Projekt Red was quick to appease author Andrzej Sapkowski when he asked for a payout earlier this year, so it's possible that it has a new Witcher title in development that will be revealed at E3 2019.

E3 2019 is due to start on June 11 and will conclude on June 15.
