The New York Subliners have had a disappointing start to their inaugural Call of Duty League season. Many thought New York would be one of the better teams coming into the 2020 season, but the Subliners have fallen off the rails early and failed to live up to those high expectations.
Despite the talented roster in New York, something hasn't been working as they find themselves at the bottom of the standings after three events (and opening weekend). With the delay in matches due to the virus outbreak, New York has decided to use that time to test out the rest of their roster and hopefully find a winning combination once matches begin again.
Heading into the Los Angeles weekend, New York decided to change up their roster and sat Trei "Zer0" Morris in favor of Nick "Happy" Suda even though it was thought Censor might get the starting nod. That didn't make much of a difference as the Subliners found themselves quickly eliminated from the event after going a woeful 0-2. It looks like Censor might finally be getting his chance, though.
Donovan ‘Temp’ Laroda confirmed the team will be scrimming with Censor against the Atlanta FaZe. That is a tough team for Censor to be playing against in scrims, but Censor is always up for the challenge and it could be the moment to prove he deserves a chance at a starting spot within a struggling Subliners' roster.
Censor hasn't been able to compete at the highest level of professional Call of Duty for a while now as his most recent stint with compLexity Gaming back in 2018 didn't produce the type of results Censor and the rest of the squad were hoping for. It's hard to tell how Censor will fare if he does give his shot, but with the way things have been going for New York, it doesn't hurt to try.
