Zombies traditionally have a craving for human flesh or brains, much like Fortnite's insatiable hunger for any IP it can get its hands on. In what comes as no surprise at all, Resident Evil's Chris Redfield And Jill Valentine have been added to the game. A short reveal video showed the pair saving Doggo from a wild horde of mindless zombies.

The duo can be found in the game's store and can be purchased as part of a bundle or by themselves. Chris' alternate costume is his bearded look from Resident Evil Village along with the black turtleneck and trench coat; Jill's is her blue tank top and undershirt from the Resident Evil 3 remake.

As always, a number of themed pickaxes, back bling, and items have been added as well. You can put on the health restoring Green Herb as back bling; unfortunately it won't heal you, but you can swap it around for the red and blue herbs. The Saving Keystrokes back bling is a call back to the series' iconic typewriter save points. As for pickaxes, you can pick up the Hot Dogger from Resident Evil 3 or the Stun Rod, which has featured in multiple games.

There's also the Brolly Stroll emote, which will have you casually strolling while twirling an umbrella that matches the colours of the infamous corporation. Purchasing the entire bundle will also get you a neat looking 'Survival' loading screen by artist Rodrigo Lorenzo. It features Chris and Jill taking out a bunch of zombified Fortnite characters.

The most recent characters to be added to the game were Zendaya and Timothee Chalamet's characters from Dune, Chani and Paul Atreides. The information was earlier leaked by reliable insider, Venom, who shared assets for the characters before Epic made the official announcement. Chani and Paul came along with their own back bling, a pair of Maker Hook and Twinblade pickaxes, an Ornithopter glider, a Sandwalk emote, and a Stickworm loading screen.

It seems that Fortnite will be going after any action or sci-fi movie that comes out lately, or even 25 years ago like in the case of Bad Boys.
