Brazilian Counter-Strike star Marcelo "coldzera" David stated in a recent interview with ESPN Esports Brazil that he has received multiple offers to join new teams after he stepped down from MIBR last month. The interview also reveals some details about the environment within MIBR, and his relationships with his now former teammates.

After cementing the Brazilian era in 2016 and 2017, MIBR started to fall as a new era of Danish dominance began to rise. Despite a return to a fully Brazilian lineup, the team couldn't get back on their feet and coldzera left the team in July of this year. The former best player in the world had played alongside teammates Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and Fernando "fer" Alvarenga since the beginning of his professional career. He and Epitacio "TACO" de Melo had made a name for themselves as one of the most formidable star/support duos in the game.

All good things must come to an end, however, and MIBR's story is no exception. The rifler expresses his disappointment with his former teammates in the interview, mentioning how he feels they "went a bit overboard,[...] saying that 'we are better off without him'" after he left. Coldzera explains how he feels that was "very low" and that it had hurt him a lot. He also mentions the effect this had on fans, and how he felt the team's fans had been turned against him. David says his former teammates have tried to reach out to him, but that he did not respond.

As for the future, Coldzera divulges his plans for the immediate future and a look towards his next big steps. He reveals that he will be going to Europe this week on his own to practice individually, which is something non-European teams do often as the best teams and players largely reside in Europe. When addressing the long-term, the CS:GO star reveals that he has received offers from four teams, and that he is still analyzing those offers. He did not disclose which organizations had reached out to him. He doesn't plan on signing any contracts before the StarLadder Major, since "after the Major there is always this game of musical chairs in the scene, so I need to wait a while to see if I have any new proposals."

Coldzera's next destination has been a topic of debate recently, as there is no obvious place for him to go. FaZe Clan seems to be the most likely place for him to end up, as he has expressed a desire to play with FaZe star Nikola "NiKo" Kovač in the past. Many also point towards 100 Thieves to build a new team with coldzera at the helm, as they did confirm a return to Counter-Strike recently. No matter where coldzera goes, he brings with him a level of skill and dedication nearly unmatched in the CS:GO scene.
