We already knew Crash Bandicoot: On The Run was incredibly popular, but we now have some official revenue numbers to match up with its install base. According to a new report from Sensor Tower, On The Run managed to earn nearly $700K in revenue during its first week on the market.

The report goes on to state Crash Bandicoot: On The Run's performance "compares favorably" to many other titles from King, including Candy Crush Jelly Saga. Its first week on the market saw over 23 million installs, with 8 million of those occurring on launch day. Crash's latest mobile outing is already a runaway success, whether you're looking at revenue generated or install base.

As of this week, On The Run was closing in on 38 million global installs.

Sensor Tower's report revealed a few other interesting facts, including worldwide app downloads growing 8.7% in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the same time last year, along with the continued growth of secured messaging apps such as Telegram and Signal. All told, the App Store and Google Play saw more than 36 billion downloads during the first portion of this year.

Despite not launching until the last few days of the quarter, Crash Bandicoot: On The Run still managed to place on the Top 10 Most Downloaded App Store Games chart – falling just behind PUBG Mobile but beating out Homescapes and Roblox.
