A new month means a new Grand Prix in Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, and it starts this Friday, November 8, 2019.

All of these remasters are all well and good, but there's one big problem with almost all of them. Once completed, that's it. Yes, just like the original. But still, gaming is now a world where titles are constantly updated. Studios give players DLC so the fun doesn't have to end. The only remaster to have cottoned onto this in a major way is Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled.

This was a great piece of business by Activision as even with aspects of CTR's sequels mixed in, it is still a very short game. It has kept players' interest by running different Grand Prix events with each passing month. These are events that introduce new racers, karts, and other items to the game but most importantly of all, new challenges. Things to do and achieve for players who are done with everything else the game has to offer.

CTR's latest Grand Prix launches this Friday (November 8, 2019) and the gang is heading to the circus. The Neon Circus, to be precise. As always, a new track will unlock for all players who merely turn on CTR at any point while the Grand Prix is active. There are also three new characters, but they'll require some work to unlock. This Grand Prix's trio is Koala Kong, Pasadena O’Possum, and Ebenezer Von Clutch.

PlayStation has also revealed via its blog that this Grand Prix will bring with it a brand new game mode, Ring Rally. Ring Rally will require racers to pass through rings on all their favorite tracks against the clock. Pass through a ring and gain bonus time. The rings will get smaller with each passing lap, and afterward, you'll be tasked with beating your own record.

As for when racers can get stuck into The Neon Circus Grand Prix, there's not too long to wait. The newest Grand Prix launches tomorrow (November 8, 2019) at 7 am PST. As usual, it will run for a full month, coming to an end on December 8, 2019. At that point, it's probably safe to assume there will be a short break before a Christmas-themed Grand Prix launches.
