Through voiceover narration, Crisbell explains how she was once an optimistic and idealistic child until the day her "world fell apart and [she] truly learned to see." She then goes on to discuss her newfound goal to stand up to tyranny and fight for justice in the world. Even when "evil forces gather," Crisbell will not back down—instead, she will fight back to ensure a better and brighter future. The trailer ends with her hopeful, yet bold, proclamation: "The future is what I choose to make it."

In addition to the insight on Crisbell's background, motivations, and a preview of her voice talent, the trailer also featured epic new battle scenes showcasing the incredible animations and graphics for this game. The trailer also briefly introduced two of Crisbell's party members, JKR-721 and Zas.

Cris Tales is an upcoming RPG inspired by popular and beloved titles like "Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, Valkyrie Profile, and modern classics like Bravely Default and Persona 5." Not only will players be able to fight against evil forces to save the world, but they'll also be able to manipulate time in a cool and unique way. Cris Tales allows players to experience events in the past, present, and future simultaneously, allowing for some incredible sequences and moments.

Cris Tales is scheduled to be released on November 17, 2020, for $39.99. It will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, as well as Google Stadia. There are also plans to port the game to the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
